Tarbut V’Torah Community Day School (TVT) is Faculty Jeff Davis

General Curriculum
The curriculum at TVT is rigorous and college Science 30

no fewer than seven courses each semester (one physical/one biological)

Poland And Israel AIPAC
During junior year, TVT students engage in intense study of Israel and the Holocaust. At ASB
the end of the year, the 11th graders embark on a three-week trip to Poland and Israel California Scholarship
that brings their learning to life. It is expected that they will grow as individuals and
as a group, returning poised for the leadership opportunities that will come their way Federation

Immersion Junior State of America
During the final two weeks of the school year, ninth and tenth grade students spend Make a Wish
two weeks outside the traditional classroom working and learning side by side with Math Club –
faculty members on a service program, interdisciplinary course, or independent project.
Programs, courses, and projects are designed to spark curiosity, to help students Mu Alpha Theta
become deeply and personally involved in their work, and to encourage opportunities Mock Trial

Service Learning
Upper School students are required to complete a minimum of 100 hours of community Girls
service over their four years at TVT. These may be accumulated through various Basketball
programs, the most significant of which are experiential service-learning programs that Cheer
happen both domestically and internationally during the last two weeks of the school Cross Country
year for grades 9 and 10, as well as a summer extension program that happens for our Soccer
11th graders in Israel. Throughout the year, students commit to undergoing skills-based Softball
training while also learning background education about the communities they plan to Tennis
