Dear TVT Parents,
What an exciting time to be at TVT! As the #1 K-12 private school in Orange County and the
best Jewish school in California, it is clear that TVT is a truly special place. Everyone – faculty,
staff, parents, and the greater community – genuinely cares about what is best for the school and
our students.
A crucial part of independent education is the raising of funds to continually support the
operations and growth of the school. With so many ways to do that, I hope you will find this
giving guide useful to find a fit for how you want to contribute to TVT. That being said, each year
our Lion’s Pride Annual Fund is always our highest funding priority. Gifts to the Fund support
ALL TVT students and help keep our budget balanced. Gifts of any size matter and participation
counts. It is always our goal to have 100% participation from our Board, faculty, staff, and
parent communities.
I would like to take a moment to remind you that participating in philanthropy is always supposed
to be a positive experience. Throughout my career, I have often heard apologies from donors that
their gift is not enough. Please know that each and every gift to TVT is precious to us. Giving to
TVT models for your children our school’s values of Respect, Repair the World, and Kindness. It
is the manifestation of the reasons you selected TVT to educate your children. As we continue to
emphasize our mission that academics are important and character is paramount, I would ask that
you thoughtfully consider how to take an active role in philanthropy at TVT and help live
that mission.

LION’S PRIDE When students learn to be innovative, they hone their problem-solving skills, become great

TVT is the realization of the dream to honor our ancestors and to inspire our children to live rich,
meaningful lives inspired by Jewish knowledge. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide opportunities for
enhanced studies and experiences.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
Your support provided $1,800,000 in tuition assistance last year for our qualifying families,
allowing students of all socioeconomic backgrounds an exceptional education. The gift of
education truly changes lives!

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
TVT is committed to providing ongoing high-quality professional learning opportunities to faculty
members. This continuing education is then brought back to the TVT classrooms, creating
meaningful student/teacher relationships.

ATHLETICS
We all know the significant role athletics play in developing positive social dynamics, leaders, and
citizens – on and off the playing fields. Your gift contributes to the overall health and well-being of
our students.

ARTS
Our innovative, project-based arts program emphasizes creativity and execution. Through the
Annual Fund, we are able to offer music, visual art, dance, photography, film, poetry, screen-
writing and songwriting to students across all grades.
