6 | Be a part of it Featured on Success Files with Rob Lowe I n 2018, the Cornerstone team was absolutely thrilled to learn that we were in the running to be featured on Rob Lowe’s educational television program series, Success Files with Rob Lowe. Due to the educational theme of our organization, we were the business selected. April 23, 2018 the filming crew traveled down to our corporate office in Charleston, South Carolina to interview key members of the group. The program focused on the financial consultations we offer all clients, completely free of charge. These provide a community service in themselves since they are done at no fee to the client and with the goal of providing financial education. Success Files with Rob Lowe airs on PBS, and Public Service Commercials pertaining to the company’s message are broadcast on a national platform.

Cornerstone | 9 Cornerstone prides itself on giving back to the community in a number of ways. Aside from small sponsorships, such as helping local schools and community programs, we work hand-in-hand with many local organizations to make sure that whatever we CAN give back, we do. Our CEO and Founder, Michael Haskett, says “We feel that it’s extremely important to use success for the greater good. Cornerstone has seen tremendous success and so we make it our personal goal to give back to this community in any way that we can. We encourage everyone in our organization to do the same.” Beginning in 2013, Cornerstone was the Premier sponsor for a local children’s cancer research fund, which raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for MUSC. Cornerstone has also donated office space to the organization and helped set up fundraising booths outside local Walmart stores. As a group, Cornerstone has raised funds for foundations working to cure Alzheimer’s, diabetes, breast cancer, and heart disease. They have sent donations for disaster relief, music programs, sports programs, international relief missions, food drives, and more! “It really warms my heart when I see so many members of our team stepping up in a similar manner to give back to the community,” says Haskett.
