Question tag 9

Question tag คือ กลุ่มคำที่ต่อท้ายประโยค เพื่อทำให้เป็นประโยคคำถาม ใช้ในบทสนทนาทั่วไป
โครงสร้างของ ประโยคหลัก และ Question tag จะสัมพันธ์กัน

โครงสร้าง

1. ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็นบอกเล่า, Question Tag จะเป็นคำถามเชิงปฏิเสธ (มี Not)
2. ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็นปฏิเสธ, Question Tag จะเป็นคำถามเชิงบอกเล่า (ไม่มี Not)
3. ถ้าประธานของประโยคหลักเป็นคำนาม, Question Tag จะเปลี่ยนเป็นสรรพนาม (he, she it)
4. ถ้าประโยคหลักมี “Verb to be” ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ Verb to be
5. ถ้าประโยคหลักมี “กริยาช่วย” ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้กริยาช่วยตัวนั้น
6. ถ้า have กับ has เป็นกริยาแท้ของประโยค ที่แปลว่า มี, กิน, ดื่ม Question tag จะใช้ do, does
7. ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็น Past Simple Tense ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ did/ didn’t
8. ถ้าประโยคหลัก There is, There are / There was, There were (แปลว่า มี) ประโยค Question Tag

ต้องใช้ is there, are there/ was there, were there
9. ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็น “ประโยคคำสั่ง หรือ ขอร้อง” ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ will you, won’t you
10. ถ้าประโยคหลักมี Let’s (Let us) ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ shall we

ถ้าประโยคหลักมี “Verb to be” ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ Verb to be
I’m late, aren’t I?
I’m not late, am I?
You’re a doctor, aren’t you?

ถ้าประโยคหลักมี “กริยาช่วย” ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้กริยาช่วยตัวนั้น
He can’t swim, can he?
We could be late, couldn’t we?
She will go tomorrow, won’t she?

ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็น Present Simple Tense ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ do, don’t/ does, doesn’t

Sam goes to school by bus, doesn’t he?
He has coffee every morning, doesn’t he?
You don’t like cats, do you?

ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็น Past Simple Tense ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ did/ didn’t

Sam went to school by bus, didn’t he?
He had coffee every morning, didn’t he?
You didn’t like cats, did you?

Question tag 11

ถ้าประโยคหลัก There is, There are / There was, There were (แปลว่า มี) ประโยค Question Tag
ต้องใช้ is there, are there/ was there, were there

There is a house on the corner, isn’t there?
There aren’t many people in the room, are there?
There was a car here yesterday, wasn’t there?

ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็น “ประโยคคำสั่ง หรือ ขอร้อง” ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ will you, won’t you

Please stop running, will you?
- มาจาก Will you stop running, please?
Cook dinner for me, will you?
- มาจาก Will you cook dinner for me?
Let the dog go now, will you?
- มาจาก Will you let the dog go now?

ถ้าประโยคหลักมี Let’s (Let us) ประโยค Question Tag ต้องใช้ shall we

Let’s watch TV, shall we?
- มาจาก Shall we watch TV?
Let’s go now, shall we?
- มาจาก Shall we go now?
