VIDWAN: A CA Students’ Newsletter (Vol - XIV)

From The WICASA Chairman’s Desk

My Dear Students,
“EDUCATION IS NOT PREPRATION FOR LIFE. EUDCATION
IS LIFE ITSELF.”

Education is considered to be the most powerful instrument in
bringing about changes within an individual. On one hand,
education acculturates an individual; on the other hand, it
preserves, transmits and develops the culture of the society. It can
be stated that education and culture are mutually interdependent,
complementary and supplementary in all their aspects and
activities. Thus, the relationship between education and culture are indissoluble.
Education is considered to be the most powerful instrument in bringing about the

on the other hand, it preserves, transits and develops the culture of the society. It can
be that education and culture are mutually interdependent complementary and
supplementary in all their aspect and activities. Thus, the relationship between
education and culture is indissoluble.
Taking into consideration the significance of culture, WICASA of Kalyan Dombivli
Branch had organised a cultural programme “Tarang 3.0” on 29th August 2021 at
Model College, Dombivli. The cultural programme had around numerous categories
like singing, dancing, poetry/shayari, instrument, monologue, art, craft and painting
etc. Around 32 students participated in all these categories. The programme was made
youtube live and there were around 3000 views. The WICASA has planned to organise
various webinar for the benefit of students. The details will be circulated soon.

The results of the exams conducted in the month of June will be announced in the
month of the September. I wish all the best to the students. May Lord Ganpati Bappa
fulfil all your wishes.

Contribution Of Chartered Accountants To The
Indian Economy

There was a great contribution of Chartered Accountants in Indian economy post-
independence, rather we should say world economy as members of ICAI has a
presence in almost every developed and developing countries of the world engaged in
providing quality services in the field of
accountancy, finance, auditing , business
cosultancy etc.
In India, CA.’s are engaged in providing
services right from the inception of the
business till the closure of the business, a
business can never grow and prosperous
without a Chartered Accountant. CA.’s has
played a very important and crucial role in
Nation building, they are partners in
building nation’s economy, that is the reason
why CA.’s have got special powers from the
government and parliament for auditing of books of accounts, In India only a CA. can
perform the work of Auditing of financial statements. Apart from auditing and
accounting, CA.’s are engaged in proper implementation of various tax laws in the
country like recently CA.’s has played a very important role in successful
implementation of GST law by providing quality suggestions and consultancy to the
government on timely basis. On the occasion of GST implementation and CA. Day i.e.
1st July, 2017 our honourable Prime Minister i.e. Narendra Modi has delivered a
wonderful speech and has told that a signature of CA. is more powerful than the
signature of PM. Moreover many CA.’s are engaged in providing consultancy to
central and state government for making annual Union and State budgets.

The Accounting Board of ICAI is the supreme authority in India for implementing and
regulating Accounting Standards and IND AS. They also provide clarification and
guidance if any required to specific industry.
CA.’s with vast knowledge of tax laws also engaged in training and taking seminars of
various govt. officials like Income tax department officers and GST officers etc.
At last would like to conclude that role and contribution of Chartered Accountants in
Indian Economy was unquantifiable and will continue in future also, will take Indian
economy to new heights one day.

TALENT TRAIL

Chalti Ka Naam Zindagi

Toota sapna dil mayusi ka bazar hua
Kismat se kuch gila, aur waqt bhi mano bejar hua

Garje badal, asma barse
Toofan chhaya charo ore
Bhiga chehra dekhe sab
Par Bhige naina na dekh sake
Manjil thehri dur musafir
Aur tu dard ka dariya na ter sake

Tu hi bata mujko jara
Jo yahi rahi reet teri, to kese hogi jeet teri

Har manzil ki hai apni raah, aur har raah ki apni pehchan
Ha mana ki rahe kache h, par irade to pakke hai
Armano ka jhola yu aansuo se nahi bhara karte

Ek kadam par fisal gire to kabar thodi na khoda karte

Chhoti si baat hai samajle mere yaar
Chattano ki chadhai karne wale
Kankad se nahi dara karte

Khushiyo par apne hi vaar nahi kiya jata
Haar maankar bhala Zindagi se aitbaar nahi kiya jata

Kabhi roti kabhi hasti, chalti ka naam Zindagi
Bas yahi ek sach, yahi duniya ka dastoor hai
Hasil wahi kar sake jiske sarpe sawar junoon hai
Darr ki khai se gehra jiska jeet ka fitoor hai

Kehti hai manjil gor se suno –
Rehem me mil jau… me wo chaabi nahi hu
Itrati hu, ladaku hu, magar me farebi nai hu

Aur isiliye,
Tum Khudko yaad dilate rehna duniya badalni hai apni

Waqt bhi hamara ho chale aisi kismat banani hai apni

Tu mat bhul apna wajood, apna samman pehle tu khud karna sikh
Jo khud hi khudko samaj na sake, wo auro se aas nahi karta
Sher kitna bhi bhuka kyu na ho, phir bhi ghas nahi khata!

What if I recite you a story

Starting " Once upon a time"
But what if you realise it's about you,

It's your own story..
Would you still listen to my voice or the story that I recite,
Will your perspective then be changed on how you see yourself.

Or would you then love your life ,
Or wonder what you thought to be complicated can be simplified in a poem,

Will you be proud or ashamed, for the person you're turning to be.
Will you be excited to see how the poem is gonna end?

Listen to find out...

Once upon a time
When the king was on journey to conquer the world,
But this journey was different, as he had to sacrifice everything that he loved,

His friends were the first one who he left behind..
When he thought that the journey was over,
It had only began,

Then when a year passed by , it was time for the next sacrifice,
He had to leave his hobbies behind,

1111

WICASA Kalyan-Dombivli E-Newsletter: August 2021
VIDWAN: A CA Students’ Newsletter (Vol - XIV)

And he thought this wouldn't worry him as he would have no spare time...

Later the time came, when the journey that he started didn't seem like it's ending well,
All he was doing was walking the never ending road…

A year passed again,
And the time was here , the journey demanded another sacrifice, this time his sleep.

Now The king was worried ,
As he was already exhausted from walking and fighting battles.

And now that he couldn't sleep..
The king had to be quick..

Yet the king was determined,
So he continued the journey..

And a year passed again..

Later when he arrived at the battlefield , he tried hard defeating his enemy in the bat-
tle ground,

But he couldn't succeed..
And all these years of hardship and sacrifice were gone to dust , he thought..

When the king thought it was all over ,
he heard the moon talk,

Saying there's still a chance to defeat his enemy,
And the war is not over yet..

WICASA Kalyan-Dombivli E-Newsletter: August 2021
VIDWAN: A CA Students’ Newsletter (Vol - XIV)

This time the king was sad and devastated,
He thought he couldn't go through all this pain and sacrifice all over again…

The king was consumed in sorrow ,
This battle that he had fought alone,

Not outside but within.

The king was terrified, but he knew he couldn't give up,
As this is not how a king behave,
As he has to win the world,

He remembered why he started for,
So he rose again,

Struggling hard to stand straight , the king managed not just to stand but fight back
again..

So this time when the journey asked for sacrifice ,
He gave everything it asked for ,
Yet he didn't hesitate..

And this time the king fought his battle with bravery and courage,
He won the war , both within and outside..
The world was his now ,

And all the sacrifices that he made came as a prize to him for winning this game..
And thus the story ends..

Remember what I said ,
That you might feel this story to be yours,

But
This might not be your's story that I penned,

Just a mere coincidence,
But there's a story that you are living,
And every day a new page you write ,
Your actions are stanzas that someday you may narrate,

With a satisfaction or guilt ,
Whatever you fill it with..

Dil ka Dwaar

(From boy’s point of view)
Umra bhar intezaar kiya unke aane ka,

gazab ka junoon tha usae paane ka;

dwaar dil ka khula rakha sadaa hi humne,
manzoor bhi thi jise tanhaai aur ghera jise tere gam ne;

vo aaye, tashreef farmaaye aur chale gaye,
jaate jaate kambakht ye dil ka tukda le gaye;

ab kisi aur se dil lagaaye toh lagayee bhi bhalaa kaise?
jiske dil ko usne yu sawaara chitrakalaa ho jaise!

(Girl’s reply)
Palko ko toh humne bhi sajaa rakhe the aapke intezaar mein,
haar maani nahi kyuki pehle hi hum jeet gaye the dil tumpe haar ke;

dwaar dil ke khule the,
par kya raahein bhi uss wakt humare saath thi?

swagat mein koi kami na rakhi mere dulhe ki baraat mein,
tumhare sapno ko sajaaya har andheri raat mein;

1155

WICASA Kalyan-Dombivli E-Newsletter: August 2021
VIDWAN: A CA Students’ Newsletter (Vol - XIV)

tumhare dil ke dwaar par jab tumse jaa mile nazar dilo k bazaar mein,
jaadu kuch aisa chhaya ki barso bitaana manzoor hua hume aapke intezaar mein;

bekhabar thi main ki dil ka tukda le aayi hu,
par shayad bekhabar tum ye bhul rahe ho ki mai toh apna dil hi tumhare aangan mein

chhod aayi hu;

ab kisi aur par dil ko kya hain lagaana,
iss dil par toh pehle se hi lag gaya hain tumhara nishaana;

aaj wakt hain aaya uss mod par,
umeed ko tumne hain baandha , bikhare dil ko phir jodkar;

meri asha ko tumne aaj bhi rakha hain zinda,
ki reh gaye hain humari kahani ke kuch aakhari khand chuninda;

sheesh ka ek dwaar aur ab hum dono hain phir usi mod par,
sawaal ye hain ki aage haath koun badhaayega ,bitae atit ko piche chhodkar;

kyuki tumhe lagta hain ki dil sirf tumhara hain tutaa,
par shayad bekhabar tum ye bhul rahe ho ki sheesh ke dwaar ka taala toh hain pehle

se hi tutaa!
