ROSALYN MOTTA ROA - My Life!

An autobiography about Rosalyn Motta Roa. :)

My Life!

By Rosalyn Motta Roa :D

Joining My Choir

In 4th grade, I joined a choir..

It was considered both a choir and chorus so I think choir is fine. I ended up
joining because of an old friend of mine. They convinced me to step in when I
had doubts about joining. I don’t think I had ever thanked them for it but I am
grateful for them doing what they did at the time. We ended up going on a bunch
of field trips for singing. We went to a bunch of places, it was great. In 5th grade,
an idea was proposed that if we saved up enough money from selling snacks and
getting donations, we could go to New York for a week if possible to sing. Well,
we did! The trip was for 5 days and it was such an amazing experience, I had gone
with my grandmother at the time and going to all these places and sightseeing

was very memorable. We went to TImes Square, the M&m's store, the 9/11
memorial and so much more. Honestly, if I could go back and visit again I

definitely would!

My Favorite Person!

Hard choice but if I had to choose...

I would choose my uncle, Fredy. One of my favorite memories with him is when he took
me to Big Bear to see snow for the first time. This happened when I was around 6 or 7
but I still remember it so nicely. We ended up making a snowman with coins for eyes
since we didn’t see any small rocks to use, bowling, and having fun in general. He’s
also taken me to try new things like new foods and place to visit. It’s always so great
when i get to spend time with him! I remember the times when we would drive out and
look at hills or see the beach/pier. Such lovely views. Sometimes, I wish I could drive
out there myself and just indulge in it all.

Me and My Sister

On June 26th, 2012 my sister Alicia was born.

At first, it was great! I now had a sister like I wanted. But after a while, I realized
that having a sister changed a lot like having more responsibilities and being
careful. Soon, I got jealous and that’s normal. Obviously, new baby and everyone
focuses on her, but at the time I didn’t realize this so I started to resent her. Well,
to be fair it started when I couldn’t play with the toys I wanted because she was
around and could eat it. And that got little 6 year old me angry. But as she grew so
did I and I learned to like her a bit more even if she was a bit much at times. I
learned to live with it as well and now I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love her
and I hope she knows that. :]

My Proudest Moment!

An award I am very proud about...

One of them would be getting the honor roll but elementary and middle school
although I only have a photo of me in elementary getting it. Both times my parents
awarded me for my achievement with something of my choice which would usually
be YogurtLand or 85. 85 is a cafe for pastries and drinks, it’s really good. Another
thing I am proud about would be getting student of the month in elementary school
also. I believe that happened around 4th or 5th grade. For all these awards, I was
so happy about for getting to this point. So for this year I will be aiming towards
getting an honor roll as well!
