Sesame Grilled Tuna
With Carrot-Ginger Dressing

I AM A HUGE FAN of rare tuna. If you can get the top-quality,
sashimi-grade sh, this really is the best way to showcase it. And
for those of you, like my mother, who cannot abide raw, or even
rare, sh, we love you anyway.

bed of greens strewn with summer produce, then topped with a
refreshing carrot ginger dressing is heaven on a plate. It is simple,
yet dramatic in presentation, and most of it can be done ahead of
time. So put your dressing and salad together, then head to the
beach. Pick up the sh on your way home, and voila, dinner is set!

Because my husband is in one of his “carbs are the devil”

below would be a lovely accompaniment to this meal.

JAFCO Raises Money Via Three Events
Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options (JAFCO) held its Spring into Summer Luncheon on May 18, raising more
than $75,000 to support neglected children. e event, held at Bluestone Country Club, had more than 275 attendees.
“Women of Valor” honorees were Donna Greenberg and Carol Sussman.

On June 29, JAFCO, in partnership with Golden Slipper, hosted a “game day” in Atlantic City. Held at the Golden
Nugget casino, about 290 women raised more than $29,000 to allow JAFCO children to attend Golden Slipper Camp.

On July 10, JAFCO held its annual Northeast Golf Classic at White Manor Country Club. About 100 people
attended, for a total of more than $50,000 raised.
