Centenarians Feted at KleinLife

Sixteen centenarians were honored in ceremonies marking KleinLife’s
third annual centenarian celebration. They were treated to lunch and
entertained by the Ferko String Band, along with entertainer

Teacher Receives Parkinson’s Disease Foundation Award

Area teacher Rachel Isenberg received the Page and William Black Humanitarian Award at the
Parkinson’s Disease Foundation annual Bal du Printemps gala in New York City. Since 2010, she has
raised nearly $27,000 for the foundation in honor of her mother, who lives with the disease. Willie
Geist, co-host of NBC’s Today and of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, served as master of ceremonies at the
event, which raised more than $400,000.
