METER
UPGRADE PROJECT

Beartooth Electric Cooperative is deploying a new, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) including new TWACS (two-way
automated communication system) digital meters to improve the efficiency and reliability of our electric system. The Turtle
power-line carrier system (automated meter reader (AMR) system) currently in place is obsolete technology and soon will
no longer be supported. We are excited to share with you this new system installation and the numerous benefits it will
bring. We thank you for your patience while we make these system upgrades.
