4.0 Introduction
The PSC and DFSC Staff Welfare Association, which is affiliated to the Public Officers’ Welfare
Council (POWC), was set up in 1993. The main objective of the Association is to promote the
safety, health and welfare of its members by organising and participating in social and leisure
activities.
The aim is to provide a healthy, safe and conducive working environment for promoting
excellence at the PSC and DFSC. It also targets the promotion of a work-life balance among the
staff and Commissioners of the PSC and DFSC.
