Dear Friends,

It was an honour to be the
Country Representative
for the UK in 2016/17. I
met amazing people,
attended the 3 European
conferences, and learned
so much for the amazing
projects your clubs are
doing!

The power of international friendships is limitless and Rotaract
gives us the amazing opportunity to explore, to make a difference,
to be positive together!

I hope you will enjoy reading the last bulletin for 2016/17. I am
now handing over to Karolina (Karry) Dimitrova who is the new
Country Representative for the UK. I am sure Karry will be
excellent in representing you this year so please be proactive in
reaching out to her and getting involved in international projects
and events!

Keep dreaming, travelling, doing amazing projects and meeting
inspiring people! Keep Rotaracting 

ERIC Country representative 2016/17

European Convention (EUCO) Warsaw

At the beginning of May 2017 hundreds of Rotaractors from
Europe met for the Rotaract European Convention in Warsaw,
Poland. More than 30 Rotaractors from the UK attended the
conference and had the opportunity to create new friendships
and discover the international side of our organization.

During the four days of the convention we had the chance to
choose between attending workshops, sightseeing tours, ERIC
plenary session, social project and many more interesting
activities. We also presented traditional British food and drinks
during the country booths where each country presents their
culture and traditions. During the plenary session the top 5
candidates for the Best European Service Project and the best
Twin Club Relationship award were presented. All participants
were also introduced to the new ERIC
Board.

The destination for EUCO 2018 was
confirmed – this will be Antwerp in
Belgium at beginning of April 2018!!! On
Saturday evening we had a stunning gala
dinner which was full of beautiful
emotions and unforgettable moments.

The Rotaract European Convention is an
exciting conference and it is recommended
for everyone who has the chance to attend!
