1. Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque

The Blue Mosque, this marvel is located in
Downtown Beirut. It was built after the
donation of the Late Prime Minister Rafik
Hariri and continues to be a symbol of his
work. The mosque is only one of the
achievements of this late Prime Minister.
He shifted his business focus to rebuild
Downtown Beirut to what it is today,
provided students with educational
scholarships, and encouraged foreign
investment in Lebanon.

3. NATIONAL MUSEUM OF
BEIRUT

The National Museum of Bneaitriount a(lAdraebBiecy: r‫ ّﻲ‬o‫طﻧ‬u‫و‬th‫ت)اﻟ‬is‫رو‬t‫ﯾ‬h‫ ﺑ‬e‫ف‬p‫ﺣ‬r‫ﻣﺗ‬in, cMipataḥlamf uBsaeyurmūt
al-waṭanī or French: Musée
of archaeology in Lebanon. The collection begun after World War I, and
the museum was officially opened in 1942. The museum has collections
totaling about 100,000 objects, most of which are antiquities and medieval
finds from excavations undertaken by the Directorate General of
Antiquities. About 1300 artifacts are exhibited, ranging in date from
prehistoric times to the medieval Mamluk period.

During the 1975 Lebanese Civil War, the museum stood on the front line Governorate 10310

Head to Jounieh and meet your expert paragliding instructor. Grab your gear and continue to the starting point at a mountain near Harissa. Once
you arrive, hear a short instruction on safety from your certified pilot before getting set up in the paraglider.

Once in the air, relax as your instructor controls the gliding while you soak in the views and capture incredible photos. Glide above the city for
15 - 20 minutes and enjoy birds-eye sightseeing with views of the bay and Mount Harissa.

7.QANAT BAKISH Ski & Snowboard Areas

Resort

Located about seven kilometers northeast of Baskinta, the tiny and quiet
resort of Qanat Bakish is known for its high-quality snow. The resort is
ideal for beginners and families with small children. Prices for a ski-
pass are 10 USD during weekdays and 18 USD over the weekend (10
USD for half a day).

Transportation

For a taxi from Beirut to Qanat Bakish, expect to pay around 75,000 LBP.
The easiest way to reach Qanat Bakish by car from Beirut is via Faraya
and Faqra. After passing Faraya, after about 3 kilometers, take a sharp
left toward Faqra. Continue until you reach a large roundabout where
you go right toward Faqra Resort. From there, keep straight toward
Qanat Bakish. Duration: about 1.5 hrs.

Accommodation

Although slightly outdated, the Snow Land Hotel *** offers clean rooms,
suites, duplexes and dorms, and provides good access to the slopes.
There is a restaurant and a large outdoor swimming pool. Classes and
equipment are available at the hotel.
