3.7 Project Design Theme

Modern industrial interior design is versatile with pleasure. This design style is simple to pull off with
lighting, decor, and furniture, consisting mainly of neutral hues and fabrics that concentrate on unique
textures. Despite its simplicity and minimal design tropes, it manages to make a bold statement in industrial
style.

Conclusion

4 Conclusion

• Chapter 1 discussed a brief history about the evolution of coffee shops, their types, the difference
in interior design and their classifications. In addition, the sustainability overview including the
principles of sustainability and the smart sustainable solutions for the coffee shop interior,
moreover showing pictures to visualize the ideas of each coffee shop type and history.

• Chapter 2 previews three different case studies that is defined in different coffee shop types, which
supports the materials used, lightings, furniture, equipment, technologies, space planning, plan
layout and sections, design diagrams, and design themes. Basically, studying different coffee shops
to fully understand and have enough resources and information about coffee shops interiors for
chapter 3 when designing your own coffee shop.

• Chapter 3 included my own coffee shop design after having enough data from chapter 1 and 2. It
showed the design requirements such as plan layouts, design diagrams, design themes, color
schemes, materials, lightings, furniture and technologies used in the coffee shop interior.

F.2. Implement an appropriate color scheme that is suitable for coffee shops interior.

4.2 Recommended for future research

When designing a co-working café, its very important to distinguish it from the other types of cafes, and
should focus on the function of this particular café, for example my co-working café is a type of a café that
focuses on both working and the enjoyment of the coffee, so it should accommodate both of working and
enjoying environment. Basically, when designing a place that has different types you should focus study
more about this certain project but also having a general idea about the rest of the types of this certain
project to implement the suitable interior environment in your project.
