The Ingredients
160 g sponge cake or pound cake (halved
and cut into thick slices)
300 g fresh strawberries
4 spoons of strawberry jelly slab
2 cups/500 mL thick custard (or canned)
2 cups/500 mL whipping cream (softly
whipped)
Moving on to the phase of making
this recipe! Below are the steps:
Gather the ingredient.
Cut the sponge cake into half and slice it
into smaller pieces.
Place the bottom of bowl (or glass) with
the cake slices. Sprinkle the slices with
water and leave it soak for 4 minutes.
Now, slice the strawberries thickly. Make
sure you leave a few for the decoration!
Lay the sliced strawberries evenly over the
cake. Press down lightly with a fork to
release the juices.

Pour 4 spoons of strawberry jelly slab into
a measuring cup with 100 mL cold water
and heat for 1 minute in a 750-watt
microwave. Stir them well and add enough
additional cold water to make it 570 mL
Pour this liquid on top of the layer of the
fruit and sponge cake earlier.
Place the trifle bowl into the refrigerator
and leave until the jelly turns solid.
Finally, layer the trifle with whipped cream.
(Either spooned over or piped using a
piping bag, as you wish!)
Decorate the top of the trifle with the fresh
strawberries to make it look tastier!
That’s it! I hope you would have a fun time and
enjoy making this with your friends or family!
Have a good day, everyone! Don’t forget to try!
