coach. Brian Murphy came from
Ireland and is an ex-professional
playing several years in England. He
is a highly qualified and enthusiastic
coach who was looking to work with
a club and not just a team.
The bulk of last year’s senior squad
returned and were joined by some
exciting additions in Maxsim Manko,
Andrew Campbell, and Josh Chemis.
Charlie Thomas finally got to make
his debut after signing for the club
just before Covid curtailed the 2020
season. He follows in the footsteps of
his father Peter who played over 100
games for the first team.
The season was ended early again
due to another Covid lockdown but
with 19 of the 22 fixtures completed
OMU were 5 points clear of Fencibles
in second and eleven points clear of
Beachlands in third.
With only 2 losses in 19 matches
and featuring five- goal defeats of
