My favourite memory in St Heliers School was the
moment I came in. I had joined late, but when I had
arrived for the first day of school, everyone was
surrounding me. I felt glad about the fact that I had
so many friends. And throughout the years I have
made so many memories, so my favourite part about
St Heliers isn’t the activities, it's the people. ”

This puzzle represents, firstly, the students and teachers’
respect, diligence, wisdom and care contribute to the
excellent reputation of St Heliers school. Secondly, the puzzle
represents the four houses at St Heliers School; Whero,
Kakariki, Kikorangi and Kowhai. The items around the puzzle
represent the daily elements of St Heliers School that we
engage with each day.
Tully
The four colours represent the four houses - Kakariki, Kowhai,
Kikorangi and Whero. It means that hopefully we will all be back
at school. The edges show all the houses that surround our
school.

My yearbook cover represents what I think of when I see St Heliers
school. When I was thinking about what I could draw, I thought about all
of the things that make our school unique and interesting. In my drawing
I have included the beach, Rangitoto, the school with a car driving up to
it, a pohutukawa tree, and the bright blue skies. The beach is right down
the road from our school, which is why I drew a little hill with a car to
portray someone coming to the school from the beach. The pohutukawa
tree also reminded me of the beach and the school since they are seen
around these areas. And lastly, when I think about going down to St
Heliers Bay, I always think of the bright blue skies with only a couple of
clouds.
