Travelwise

This year and last year I was in Travelwise. “Who walked or wheeled to school today?!”
Travelwise was fun because the Travelwise It was my first time collecting the
team set up all these cool activities and information and I felt so important! As I
even found fun ways to encourage kids to look back I remember how cringey I may
walk to school. Travelwise is eco friendly have looked, but I wouldn't have changed
and you can meet students from around the any bit of it! Travelwise was one of my
school, and become good friends. I think all favourite groups that I joined and I loved
students should join! doing the jobs and responsibilities that
Manha Mirza came with it.

team. Travelwise is a time where you learn
about safety rules and responsibilities. In
Travelwise you have lots of opportunities to
give speeches in front of your Whānau. I
am sure to join again next year!

Basketball zones was so much fun! We were divided into two teams, Marshall
Chiefs which I was in, and Marshall Blues. Marshall Chiefs were with Mr.
Walker and Marshall Blues were with Mr. Broman. They didn’t keep score in
the games, but I guess it was all just to have fun. There was the organiser who
shouted TIME! That meant that all teams playing needed to stop their game.
He also let some kids try saying it and I was one of them, but I couldn’t get
anyone's attention because I was too quiet! We played so many games that I
eventually forgot the number.The schools that were playing were Haypark,
Hillsbrough, Halsey Drive and Christ the King. I think there were more, but that
is all I can remember! We also had breaks and we watched other schools play
against each other. Basketball was fun and at the same time tiring. Basketball
was a great experience and I think everyone should join!
