Gyproc becomes the first Indian manufacturer in Gypsum industry to receive ISI certification
Saint-Gobain India’s Gyproc Business received the ‘ISI (Indian Standards Institute) certification’ for its Gypsum plasterboards from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in June 2017.
This is the first time that a manufacturer
in India has received an ISI mark for its
gypsum plasterboards, recognition for
the highest standard of manufacturing
in the country. The certification has
been granted for the plasterboards manufactured at the Wada plant and is
valid via IS No: IS 2095: Part 1: 2011.
It has been awarded for robust quality,
safety and assurance standards of the plasterboards.
ISI marked boards are the most preferred choice for all sectors and are becoming increasingly prevalent in the growing urban clusters across the country. The ISI certification is a significant milestone for the business to continue with its commitment to the highest quality standards whilst becoming the reference for sustainable habitat in India.

Saint-Gobain India’s Gyproc Business unveiled HabitoTM, a revolutionary gypsum board that offers enhanced performance in load fixing strength, robustness and acoustics. HabitoTM, a new variant in the drywall space, is designed to provide customers greater flexibility in terms of space and ease the process of loading on drywall.
