Foreword

This newsletter aims to empower our educational institution
partners and students to fast-track and bridge the digital skills
gap required by the industry, as we undergo an era of
digitising work processes to improve productivity, which leads
to boosting the nation's economy.

eduCLaaS' primary mission is to deliver work-ready talents, and
entrepreneurs for the ever-growing digital transformation of
economies locally, or internationally. We provide specialised
programmes in Software Engineering and Digital Business for
individuals to upskill and reskill themselves to navigate
through a modern digital industry.

Our learning methodology ensures every individual achieves a
quality tertiary education that focuses on real-world, practical,
job-ready skills, with job placements as an apprenticeship for
an extensive duration of 18 to 36 months to gain work
experience with our industry partners before graduation.

The newsletter will also serve to be abreast with information
about eduCLaaS, our qualification courses, activities, the latest
partnerships, and the current digital skill trends that are
presented by the workforce industries.

Introduction

Who we are?

eduCLaaS is a Pan-Asia Digital Learning and Talent Platform
which aims to deliver talent and enterprise growth with
CLaaS® for inclusive digital economy transformation.

We connect higher education students, working adults,
enterprises, employers, and post-secondary institutions for
digital upskilling, digital career induction, and digital workforce
development.

What is our mission ?

Technological progress has been transforming humanity for
decades. The digital revolution can deliver a more open and
productive world while creating digital divides that fuels
inequality.

Education is often referred to as a public good in developing
economies, with governments shouldering the bulk of the
burden for education funding and delivery.

Our mission is to bridge the missing connection between
learning and work for reimagining post-secondary education
as a global common good to deliver inclusive digital
transformation for all.

Rate of Automation
in Malaysia

In 2017, the McKinsey Global Institute found that
half of the occupation today could replaced and
be automated using modern technology.
While few can be automated fully, 60% of all jobs
can be automated at least 30% of it.
About 50 percent of the work time in Malaysia is
spent on automatable activities and this could
alter large amount of labor eg. accounting, data
entry, etc.
Automation could displace up to 25 percent of
working hours, or 4.5 million equivalent workers,
in Malaysia by 2030.

At eduCLaaS, we offer qualification courses comprised of
Software Engineering and Digital Business majors with
learning modules designed to deliver practical, job-ready
competencies required for specialised job roles in Software
Engineering and Digital Marketing.

CLaaS®

Work-Study Applied Learning

With an emphasis on delivering skills mastery, our learning
pedagogy consists Work-Study learning through real-life or
simulated projects that lead to skills utilisation at the
workplace.

We use the 70:20:10 learning model to deliver experiential and
social learning, allowing learners to have improved Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities (KSA) while learning.

Personalised Blended Learning

CLaaS® offers personalised and suitable courses to the
candidates and industry demands. Thus, offering courses that
can be delivered on-demand, anywhere, and anytime.

You will be assigned a mentor who will provide a lesson plan
which includes self-directed ‘bite-sized’ e-content and
participate in live learning activities such as flipped classes,
tutorials, and expert sharing by our industry partners. This
ensures the success of your course and training outcome.
CLaaS® also assures job placement based on delivery.

After completing your course, you will be evaluated on your
progress via continuous online and offline assessments to
ensure your learning journey is on track to success.

9 months, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, more than 200+
hours of intensive skilling bootcamp
A bootcamp that is compromised of digital skills that will be
mentored by industry experts.
Our curriculum comprises subjects and concepts that are
relevant to industry needs and will be helpful.
Upon completion of the Foundation programme the
candidate will be awarded a Pearson BTEC level 3
certificate and will be eligible to continue our Work
Integrated Bachelor's Degree programme.
