Dear Parents

FORM 4 FUND-RAISING RAFFLE 2018

The Form 4 boys will embark on a raffle fundraiser and we request that you as parents support
this initiative. All funds raised will go towards their Matric Dance in 2019.

Ticket sales will commence on the 3rd of May 2018 and will close at midnight the 30th of May
2018. The draw will take place at St Alban’s on the 7th of June 2018 during Assembly.

Raffle ticket holders will stand the chance to win the following prizes:

1st prize: Samsung 48" LED TV

2nd prize: Samsung TAB A 10.1" Galaxy Tab

3rd prize: Samsung Gear Iconx wireless Earbuds 2018 edition

Each Form 4 boy will receive a pre-numbered raffle form that contains 12 raffle tickets at R50
per ticket. It is hoped that every family will sell a full dozen.

It is important to note that the selling of the raffle tickets is voluntary. In the event that you
decide not to partake in this initiative, please return the form to Mrs Knoetze no later than 7
May 2018. If the form is not returned, we will assume that you and your son will be campaigning
to sell his allocated tickets. Additional forms may also be requested (12 raffle tickets per form).

The Form 4 boys will also sell raffle tickets during the Home winter rugby and hockey fixtures.
Once all 12 raffle tickets are sold, the forms will be returned to Mrs Knoetze with proof af
payment.

Money collected from the sale of the raffle ticket may be deposited in the Matric Dance 2019
fundraising account or cash can be given to Mrs Knoetse whereupon a receipt will be issued.

In the event of a raffle form being lost, the Form 4 boy responsible will be expected to pay
R 600 for the 12 lost raffle tickets. Therefore, please take special care not to lose the raffle form.
