ในแบบฝึกทักษะการเขียน เล่มที่ 2 Present Continuous Tense ใช้มาตรฐานการเรียนรู้และ
ตวั ชี้วัด กลมุ่ สาระการเรยี นรภู้ าษาต่างประเทศ เป็นตัวกาหนดเน้ือหาและออกแบบ แบบทดสอบก่อน เรียน
และหลังเรียน แบบฝึกระหว่างเรียน นักเรียนสามารถศึกษาและประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ด้วย ตนเองตาม
ขัน้ ตอนทก่ี าหนดไว้

ผู้จัดทาหวังเป็นอย่างย่ิงว่า แบบฝึกทักษะการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษ เร่ือง Tense รายวิชา
ภาษาอังกฤษ 5 รหัสวิชา อ23101 ช้ันมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 น้ี เล่มน้ีจะส่งผลให้นักเรียนมีการพัฒนาด้าน การ
สื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ ส่งผลให้นักเรียนมีเจตคติท่ีดีต่อวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และทาให้ผลสัมฤทธิ์ ทางการเรียน
สูงข้ึน ตลอดจนทาให้ครูผสู้ อนไดพ้ ัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนใหบ้ รรลุ วัตถปุ ระสงค์ของหลักสูตร

1.ใช้ประกอบการจดั กจิ กรรมการเรยี นการสอน วิชาภาษาอังกฤษพ้ืนฐาน รหสั วิชา
อ23101 ระดับชั้นมัธยมศกึ ษาปีท่ี 3

2. เป็นสือ่ สาหรบั ใหน้ ักเรียนใช้ศกึ ษาหาความรู้ คน้ ควา้ ดว้ ยตนเอง
3. ควรชี้แจงให้นกั เรียนอ่านคาแนะนาการใช้แบบฝกึ ทกั ษะและปฏบิ ตั ิตามทกุ ขั้นตอน
4. การตอบคาถามในแบบฝึกทกั ษะ ควรแนะนาให้นกั เรียนตอบคาถามลงในแบบบนั ทกึ

การร้ไู วยากรณ์ ในรปู ประโยค Present Continuous Tense ตามโครงสรา้ ง
Subject + Verb to be + V-ing และสามารถนามาใช้ไดใ้ นชีวิตประจาวนั เป็นพืน้ ฐาน
ที่ดีในการส่ือสารท่มี ีประสทิ ธิภาพ

หลักการใช้ Present Continuous Tense

Present Continuous Tense หรอื หลายคนอาจจะรจู้ ักในช่ือ Present Progressive Tense
อยา่ งที่เรารวู้ ่า present แปลวา่ ปจั จบุ ัน ส่วน continuous/progressive แปลว่า ดาเนินอยา่ งต่อเน่ือง
ดังนน้ั Tense นี้จึงเป็นการบอกเลา่ ส่ิงทก่ี าลงั เกิดขึ้นอยู่ในปัจจุบัน โดยมีลักษณะการใชด้ งั นี้

1. ใชเ้ พอื่ บอกเลา่ เหตุการณห์ รือการกระทาในปจั จุบันทีก่ าลังดาเนินอยู่และยังไม่จบลง
(จะจบลงในอนาคต) โดยอาจพบคาบอกเวลา (Adverbs of time) ปรากฏอย่ใู นประโยคดว้ ย
เชน่ now, at the moment, right now เป็นต้น ตวั อย่างการใช้เช่น
I am studying at Chulalongkorn University.
(ฉนั กาลังศึกษาอยู่ที่มหาวิทยาลัยจฬุ าลงกรณม์ หาวทิ ยาลยั )
Palm is trying to lose weight now.
(ปาลม์ กาลังพยายามลดน้าหนักอยตู่ อนน้)ี

2. ใช้กบั เหตกุ ารณ์หรือการกระทาท่ีกาลงั เปน็ กระแสหรอื เป็นท่ีนยิ มอยใู่ นขณะนน้ั เช่น
These day, most people are favoring healthy food.
(ปัจจุบันผู้คนสว่ นใหญก่ าลังนิยมอาหารเพอ่ื สุขภาพ)

3. ใชก้ บั เหตุการณ์หรอื การกระทาท่กี าลงั จะเกิดขนึ้ ในอนาคต โดยมีการเตรยี มและวางแผนไวล้ ว่ งหนา้
อยา่ งแนน่ อนแลว้ และมักพบคาบอกเวลา (Adverbs of time) เช่น tonight, this evening,
tomorrow, next week เปน็ ตน้ ตวั อย่างการใช้ เช่น
I am meeting my parent tonight.
(ฉนั จะพบกับพ่อแมใ่ นคนื นี)้
Cherprang and Pun are going on holiday next week.
(เฌอปรางและปญั จะไปพักร้อนสัปดาหห์ นา้ )

4. ใชก้ บั เหตุการณ์หรือการกระทาทีเ่ กดิ ขน้ึ บอ่ ยจนเกนิ ไป ทาให้ซ้าซากและน่าเบอ่ื ตัวอย่าง เชน่
Suwich is constantly talking. I wish he would shut up.
(สวุ ชิ พูดไม่หยุดเลย ฉนั หวังวา่ เขาจะหยุดพดู เสียที)
**ผ้พู ูดแสดงอาการราคาญจากการพดู ไม่หยดุ ของสุวิช

I don't like gangster near my house because they are always making noisy.
(ฉนั ไม่ชอบกลุ่มอนั ธพาลใกล้บา้ นของฉนั เพราะพวกเขามกั จะทาเสียงดังเสมอ)

ใบความรู้ที่ 1 Affirmative :
Present Continuous Tense

โครงสร้างประโยคบอกเลา่ :

Subject + V. to be + Verb. เติม ing + Object + (คาบอกเวลา)

ส่ิงที่เราต้องคานงึ ในรูปประโยคของ Present Continuous Tense คอื การใช้ V. to be
ซง่ึ ประกอบด้วย is, am, are โดยจะเลอื กใช้ V. to be ตวั ใดนัน้ ใหส้ งั เกตทป่ี ระธานของประโยค
ถ้าประธานเป็น He, She, It ใหใ้ ช้ is แต่ถา้ ประธานเปน็ I ให้ใช้ am และถ้าประธานเป็น You,
We, They ใหใ้ ช้ are และเปลยี่ นรูปคากรยิ าโดยการเตมิ ing ตวั อย่าง เช่น

การเตมิ Verb to be (is, am, are) ในประโยค
am ใช้กบั I
is ใช้กับ He, She, It และ Singular noun (คานามท่ีเปน็ เอกพจน์)
are ใชก้ บั You, We, They และ Plural noun (คานามที่เปน็ พหูพจน์)

หลกั การเติม ing ทา้ ยคากรยิ าโดยทว่ั ไปสามารถเติม ing ได้เลย แตม่ ีขอ้ ยกเวน้ บางกรณี ดงั น้ี
1. คากริยาน้นั มีสระเสยี งสัน้ (อะ อิ อุ เอะ โอะ ฯลฯ) และโดยมากมกั เปน็ a, e, i, o, u อยูห่ น้า

พยญั ชนะทา้ ย หรอื คากรยิ านน้ั ๆ มีตวั สะกดเพียงตวั เดยี ว กอ่ นเติม ing ใหเ้ พิ่มตัวสะกดของ
คาน้นั ซา้ อกี ตวั หน่ึงแลว้ จึงเติม ing เชน่

sit ---> sitting
cut ---> cutting
get ---> getting
shop ---> shopping

2. คากริยาน้ันลงท้ายด้วย e ใหต้ ดั e ท้งิ แลว้ เติม ing เชน่
come ---> coming
drive ---> driving
make ---> making
ride ---> riding
smoke ---> smoking

3. คากรยิ าทม่ี ีสระ 2 ตวั (A, E, I, O, U) ใหเ้ ติม ing ไดเ้ ลย เช่น
cook ---> cooking
keep ---> keeping
read ---> reading

4. คากริยาท่ีลงท้ายด้วย ie ให้เปล่ยี น ie เป็น y แล้วจงึ เติม ing เช่น
die ---> dying
lie ---> lying

5. คากริยาทม่ี ีสองพยางค์ และออกเสียงหนกั (stress) ทีพ่ ยางคห์ ลัง โดยพยางคน์ นั้ มีสระและ
ตัวสะกดเพียงตัวเดียว ให้เพ่มิ ตวั สะกดของคานัน้ ซา้ อีกตวั หน่ึงแล้วจงึ เติม ing เชน่
begin ---> beginning
refer ---> referring
swim ---> swimming

ข้อควรจา : คำกรยิ ำบำงตัวไมส่ ำมำรถนำมำใช้ในรปู ประโยค Present Continuous Tense ได้ ดังนี้
1. กริยำท่แี สดงถึงประสำทสัมผสั ทั้งหำ้ เชน่ see, hear, feel, taste, smell เป็นต้น
2. กรยิ ำที่แสดงควำมร้สู ึก นึกคิด เชน่ believe, know, understand, forget, remember,

recognize, fear เป็นตน้
3. กริยำทแี่ สดงควำมชอบและไม่ชอบ เชน่ love, like, hate, dislike, desire เป็นตน้
4. กริยำที่แสดงควำมตอ้ งกำร เช่น want, wish, prefer เป็นต้น
