1.1. What is Appointment?

Appointment is a formal arrangement to meet someone at a particular time
and place. If you have an appointment with someone, you have agreed to meet
with them at a specific time, usually in connection with their work or for a serious
reason. An individual's appointment, designation, or placement in a job, office, or
position, or to perform a duty. In other word, it can be define as the act of putting
someone in a job or position or the position or job to which such a person is
appointed. The act of putting something or someone in a specific place or
position is referred to as placement. When someone in training is placed, they
are given a job for a set period of time in order to gain experience in the field for
which they are training.
