INTRODUCTION:
BIOMASS: Biomass is organic, meaning it is made of material that comes from living organisms, such as
plants and animals. The most common biomass materials used for energy are plants, wood, and waste.
These are called biomass feedstock.
BIOMASS ENERGY: Biomass Energy is generated or produced by living or once-living organisms. The
most common biomass materials used for energy are plants, such as corn and soy. The energy from
these organisms can be burned to create heat or converted into electricity.
Biomass contains energy first derived from the sun, plants absorb the sun’s energy through
photosynthesis, and convert carbon dioxide and water into nutrients (carbohydrates).
Direct combustion is the most common method for converting biomass to useful energy. All biomass
can be burned directly for heating buildings and water, for industrial process heat, and generating
electricity in steam turbines.

CONCLUSION:
Biomass is a source of renewable energy ;
- That can be replenished at each crop cycle, wood harvest, or manure pile.
- It comes from a variety of sources, biomass fuel isn't always consistent in quality or
energy efficiency, and there isn't yet a well-developed network of biomass refineries
and distributors like there is for gasoline and natural gas.
- It has their own pro and cons. Its depend on how the country use and treat the
biomass energy.
- Plus, it is a renewable energy, hence this energy will avoid energy loss for a long
period of time.
