Lancashire. We officially opened in 2011 with the help and guidance of the spirit world who have been key to

the success at The Purple Mountain. We run a healing circle each week bringing through new healing
treatments to help treat the mind, body and spirit. We are open 5 days a week treating patients with a variety
of physical and spiritual concerns with great success. We continue to learn and evolve, learning new techniques

Preparing for your treatment

How can I prepare for my healing treatment?

It is very important to come to the healing prepared both physically as well as spiritually.

Try and not eat anything too heavy or drink too much liquid before your healing treatment.
Wear comfortable clothing (no jeans) or anything that will distract you during your treatment.
Avoid wearing earrings (we may use earphones).
Be open minded and come in with the right intention! Do you want to get better? Are you prepared

to make those changes about your diet for example?
And most importantly be honest with yourself!

We are not doctors nor do we claim to be. We are extremely passionate about helping people who are
emotionally, spiritually or physically sick or unwell and try to help, guide and inspire them to make
important changes to get themselves better again. We try to promote various important philosophies
that all contribute to a healthy mind body and spirit. We also focus much of our energy on promoting the
importance of prevention rather than the cure.

As you arrive to the healing clinic we go through various things and discuss how we can help you and how
you can help yourself. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience that may offer some
understanding and guidance and then with that information we will then formulate a treatment plan.

We always recommend to have up to 3-4 healing treatments over a period of time and this will give

your body and spirit enough time to heal and change: in essence bring back that balance/ and

harmony.

Ultimately our healers will do their best to advise and guide you in the healing process, however,

central energy channel connects all 7 energy vortex as well. So when the energy in your body moves through the
channel and the vortex, it creates and electromagnetic field that surrounds your physical body.

Chinese Cupping and Moxibustion

Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction.
The suction may facilitate healing with blood flow. Proponents also claim the suction helps facilitate the flow of “qi” in
the body.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a
few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow,
relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Upon arrival the therapist will go through a consultation with you evaluating your physical and spiritual condition and
then deciding whether the cupping will be the right treatment for you. A 3-4 cupping session programme will then be
set up over a course of 1-2 months. Regular cupping treatment should be advised.

The therapist will work on a specific body part area using various creams and gels and massaging those areas. Please
note you will be bruised for up to 7-10 days after the cupping treatment though this is normal.

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called "moxa" are burned on or very near the
surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic

Moxibustion is used for:

What is Kambo? - Kambo is an ancient healing practice used by the indigenous people of South America for thousands
of years. Kambo also known as ‘Sapo’ is an Amazonian tree frog who live primarily in the tall trees of the beauty am-
azon rainforest. The relationship between the tribe’s men and women and Kambo is truly unique and special. Shar-
man’s will sing special songs calling up to the tree frogs. The tree frogs will then jump down to greet the shamans and
they then harvested safely. The frogs are usually suspended by four sticks which enables the shamans to extract the
special medicine secretion. The special secretion is what we as shamans use during a Kambo treatment. No frogs are
harmed during this process and are released back to the forest. This special relationship between nature and humans
is truly inspiring.

A Kambo treatment- What happens? - Kambo is a powerful and natural healing treatment designed to purify and
cleanse the cells of toxins and stagnant residual energy within the physical body. Kambo works both physically and
spiritually releasing, unblocking and clearing the body from trapped emotions, trauma, pain or even negative energies.
During the administration of the Kambo medicine Steven will burn various gates on either the arm (males) or the leg
(females). Kambo is applied to superficial burns on the skin. A small stick is made red hot and just the top layer of skin
is removed. You are then to drink 1-2 litres of water during a period of 20 minutes. The water acts itself like a med-
icine helping to purge and clear the body from toxins during the time of purging. The Kambo is then applied onto the
burn and absorbed into the body. The medicine is then placed on the different gate points allowing to work through
the lymphatic system entering into every cell of the body.

It is aimed that during the purge, clients are able to safely release and let go. Most likely clients will experience the
purging process in different ways either by: being sick, excessive sweating, bowel movements, crying, or having to go to
the toilet. This will slowly pass once the medicine has worked through the body. Don’t fight the medicine but rather
embrace this wonderful self-healing opportunity and invite Kambo to help heal your mind, body and spirit. Special
music, drumming, singing and even rattling maybe used as part of the emotional and physical release process. Re-
member you are in a safe environment so embrace this time of safety to gently allow Kambo to work on you.

How to prepare- What to bring

• It’s very important that you start fasting 8 hours before your Kambo treatment. This means no eating 8 hours

before your Kambo treatment.

• Drink only 1-2 glasses of water during the fasting period (the 8 hours preparation). Do not drink more than this

during the 8 hours of fasting.

• Bring a change of clothes with you including a spare pair of underwear.
• Bring 3 litres of water with you.
• Bring a blanket and pillow (Mats are provide on the day of your treatment).

The Days Before: Eat as wholesome as possible in the days leading up to your Kambo ceremony. Diminish or eliminate
fried food, over processed food and alcohol. Do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs for 24 hours prior to your
session.

Prepare your intentions: Wear comfortable clothing, layers are best and remove tight or restrictive jewellery before-
hand.

During: Meditating with the breath is the best preparation for a Kambo ceremony. Breathe and invite the spirit of the
medicine into you, exhale and surrender your ego, your weight, your toxicity. Breathe in and soften to the medicine,
breathe out and let go.

As we release energies, we transform our internal and external lives. Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to connect with
the thoughts and feelings that wish to surface.

body usually followed by vomiting and sometimes evacuating from the intestines as the body purges toxins from
