INTRODUCTION

The Annual General Meeting of Parent-Teachers Association (PTA)
is an important event that is held yearly. It is a field for parents and

teachers to share thoughts and discuss the students’ academic
progress and wellbeing. Moreover, SPM Excellence Awards

Ceremony is also held to celebrate the success of students in Sijil
Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) of 2019 and 2020.

RATIONALE

The 23rd Annual General Meeting of SMKBS PTA and SPM
Excellence Awards Ceremony for the years 2019 and 2020 is held
to strengthen the bonds between parents and the educators to

realize the national education vision.

GOAL

To ensure all school activities are held smoothly, therefore positive
two-way communication between parents and teachers is

important. It is hoped that with close cooperation and common
understanding, we can maximize the outmost of effort for the
good of all students in this school.

OBJECTIVES

 To choose a new Chairman and committee members of PTA
for the 2021/2022 session.

 To achieve consensus in any activity that is planned for the
benefit of all the students’ education.

 To acknowledge the success and determination of students
who show an exemplary accomplishment in SPM 2019 and
SPM 2020.

PRINCIPAL OF SMK BUKIT SENTOSA

Peace be upon you and greetings to all.

First and foremost, let us give thanks to Allah as it is with His permission that our 23rd
Parent-Teachers Association Annual General Meeting for the year is made possible
today. Your attendance henceforth is greatly appreciated and praised upon as it
shows moral support and commitment towards our school.

I should like to take the advantage to wish congratulations to all parties that
have dedicated themselves sincerely to uplift the performance of our school. SMK
Bukit Sentosa has almost always consistently planned and executed a myriad of
activities every year towards achieving the school’s developmental goals and to give
benefits to its citizens. Success upon success has followed be it academic or
otherwise. All this is made possible with a consensus in our efforts, cooperation and
commitment from all sides to ensure that our children can weather the storm of
change which will always be full of trials and tribulations.

Therefore, any effort or funding by the PTA, be it material, constructive ideas or
moral support will be the catalyst in upgrading our school performance and ensuring
eventual success in all activities of the school. The school will always welcome any
suggestion, constructive criticism, guidance, support and cooperation from all its
members and our locality to uplift the school to a better standing in society.

Without further ado, I wish to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to
all committee members for the 2020/2021 session, parents, teachers and all parties
involved in making the 23rd Annual General Meeting for the 2021/2022 session possible.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE PARENT-TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

Peace be upon you and greetings to all.

I thank Allah as it is through his Grace and Mercy that we are able to attend the 23rd Parent-
Teachers Association Annual General Meeting for the 2021/2022 session today. I am very
honoured and grateful to be given the chance to speak on this occasion. Our presence here
today shows that we will always support and encourage the administrators and teachers to
realise the education agenda for our children’s future and well-being. I say kudos to the parents
who willingly make the time and effort to be with us now in sharing your concern and sense of
responsibility as a member of the PTA.

Committee members who are elected through the Annual General Meeting each year
are the medium and the catalysts between the school and other members of the PTA. We
heartily welcome any form of expertise, skill or advantage that could be put into use in making
all our plans a reality. I really hope that parents who are here today can contribute their ideas
and also any form of physical assistance as they are the most worthy assets our association has.
Even though the PTA is entirely voluntary, nevertheless, our consensus will enable us to execute
whatever is best for our children. Therefore, I bid everyone here to give their commitment and
allegiance to make our association be more dynamic in nature.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish congratulations to the school to their
many successes either in the academic realm or otherwise. A heartful thanks to the teachers
who persevere and never tire of giving the best to our children. Our hope as parents is for the
school to continuously strive to produce worthy individuals who would be the catalysts for a
better future.

On a final note, I would like to express my deepest appreciation and congratulations to
all involved in making the 23rd PTA Annual General Meeting for the 2021/2022 session a reality
today. I hope the newly elected committee members will carry out their tasks diligently and to
their utmost ability. Again, I call upon all parents to come forward with their constructive ideas
and manpower to inspire the PTA to always act in the best interest of its members.
