The eligibility criteria for admission to the secondary course in NIOS
are that a student should be of minimum 14 years of age and class
8th certificate from a recognized board.

Any student who applies for admission in the secondary course in
NIOS must fulfill specific eligibility criteria. Once you know that you
are eligible, then only can you fill the form. Following is theeligibility
criteria for admission to the secondary course in NIOS:



•You are eligible to take Block 1 examination if you are 14 years of
age as on 31st January 2020.
•If you are 14 years of age before 31st July, i.e., born on or before
31st January 2006, then you can take Block 2 examination.
• The minimum qualification required is to have an 8th standard

certificate from a recognized board.
•For eligibility in secondary courses, you can get a self-certificate

for minimum qualification.
