Chapter One
The most popular spies in the
American Revolution
Nathan Hale was one of the popular spies in the American Revolution. Nathan
Hale wrote to others in many secret codes. One of the secret codes is in bold words he
wrote in cursive and he would have the code in dark and you just need to read the dark
in order. Nathan mostly listen to the british's plan when they were talking about seacret
attacks. Nathan had a mission it was to spy on the british for a week he went on his
mission on september 10. But One Day when he was on the mission when he was
spying he got caught by the British in New York City and the british was going to hang
him. But before nathan lost his breath nathan said “i only regret that i have but one life
to lose for my country.” And those words are still known to this day!
Ethan Allen was a spy in the American Revolution he was first best know as
being a military leaderone of a special group of vermont territory frontiersman who
made a formidable Army. Ethan was also best known as one the founders of the U.S
state of Vermont. Ethan allen was born in january 21, 1738 born in Litchfield. Ethan
Allen wrote papers about the American Revolutionary war. Ethan was captured by the
British Fort Ticonderoga. Ethan Allen died february 12 1786 Ethan died at the age of
51.
George Washington was a spy in the American Revolution. George wrote to
others in secret codes. After the war George washington became the first president of
the united States of America. George made a secret attack on the British. George
became president for leading the American Army and everyone chose him to be the
president. George died at the age of 61. Georges mom died when he was 11 years old
his older brother raised him and tot George how to be a gentleman. George's older
brother died when George was at the age of 23.

how did spies send info to others
Most spies send info by using secret codes. Some spies put their info in their
socks and shoes. Some of the secret codes are in secret ink, wrote in bold if you are
reading the bold you just need to read the bold in order. Half of the spies dressed up as
a British soldier or a British person so they could get to their base. Some spies wrote
backwards. One day Thomas Jefferson sent a secret message and asked for two
hundred five dollars for the purpose for extending the external commerce of the united
states. George Washington writes in secret codes here is some examples ?=E -=A ;=I
==P <=Y >=Z those are some of the codes George Washington made up. Benjamin
Franklin's son william spied on his own father and wrote what he did on a piece of
paper William wrote in invisible ink and gave it to the British authorities!
Chapter three
how did spies get away from the british
There were many way’s spies got away in the American Revolution well some
spies once they got their info they will take shoes off and they will run to their hours or
wagen. Others that don't have a horse or wagon they will write their info on a piece of
paper then they will sneak away with the info they got from the British. But if there was
a spy spying on the British they would be near a door a window or a thin part of the
shelter then they will right the info down or remember it and tell the troop. But if he or
she were outside he or she would hide behind something and listen to the information
and write it down or remember it and tell or show the troop. But if a spy was caught he
or she will be hanged or be instantly shot! Nathan Hale was an American spies who
was caught while getting information in New York City he was hung by the the British.
But some spies were lucky to get away with the information and not to be killed by the
British army.
