BACKGROUND Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman or known as Khairul Aming is a 30 years old who born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. He studies at Vanderbit University, USA with scholarship and graduated in major Mechanical Engineering and minor Science Engineering with 3.75 CGPA. (Iluminasi, 2020) Khairul Aming popular in social media such as Instagram and rise his followers thriugh posting cooking video content such as content during Ramadan called "30 Days, 30 Recipe" (The Star, 2021). After a few years of doing cooking content, he now have 3.7 millions followers who enjoy his content. Khairul Aming decided to launch his first product officially called Sambal Nyet at the age 29 and already have 2 factories in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Sambal Nyet Berapi has achieved sales worth RM 7.5 million which is 540 000 bottles a year after its official launch. As of on 2 March 2022, the amount increased to 621 800 bottles which is amounting of sales RM 8.6 million. He also gives talks to student in universities about his business and achievement and to encourage students to not be afraid to try again if failed. The capacity to inspire and encourage people to bring out the best in a team may be used to describe a leader. It focuses on enticing people to contribute more to an organization's overall performance. A group or organization can reach its performance goals when leaders have the ability to influence others. An organization's capacity to manage a diverse workforce fairly is enhanced by strong leadership. The leaders primary goals is to educate, encourage and support their team members as they carry out their tasks in a well-organized manner. a leader must be knowledgeable about the strategies and tactics to deal with change. the leader that i choose is Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman. He is an entrepreneur and content creator from Malaysia. INTRODUCTION 01.


LEADERSHIP TRAITS AND SKILLS 2. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY Khairul Aming 's honesty and integrity has played an important part in his leadership traits by priotizing business ethics and treating others with respect equally. His company grew quickly, with each new offering selling out before some ethusiastic admires could even place an order. The cycle went on for a while before the issue of scammers or 'resellers'was raised. One of them was selling fraudulent versions of his sambal. Khairul learned about this and knew he need to protect his brand's reputation, which he did on Instagram. 1.DRIVE AND MOTIVATION Effective leaders such as Khairul Aming possess a drive to succeed that is contagious. He is able to motivate his employees and make them believe in the company's vision. Khairul Aming display high effort for his successfulness and he can address any issues that may develop inside his business organization, which may help him succeed in all he does. 3. EXTROVERSION Extroversion is the quality of being outgoing and directing attention to things other than theirself. Its characterized by socialibility, assertiveness, talkativeness and excitability. The capability of Khairul Aming networking with other business leader and his followers has added to his business achievement. He tends to be straightforward, candid and often charismatic. He is also communicate easily with variety of people. 02.


5. CONCEPTUAL ABILITY Conceptual abilities are the abilities that allow an individual to better understand complex scenarios and develop creative solutions. A conceptual leader can think through their ideas, transforming thoughts into action-driven solutions and benefiting the organization. Khairul Aming was able to take his Sambal Nyet business to another level because of his curiosity in doing business and desire to grow it to the next level. To guarantee the business and his image are manage properly, the team needs a qualified, knowledgeable member who can make choices. Khairul Aming accomplishments have had a significant impact. He has been taking his time learning about his business even though doing business is not his background studies in the first place. 4. SELF-CONFIDENCE An effective leader must have confidence in themselves. Sels-assured leaders prefer to encourege and drive their staff to succeed and to constantly believe in themselves. A leader with confidence is excited about the future. Lack of confidence prevents someone from being a leader since they cannot be trusted by others if they do not trust themselves. By utilising these skills, Khairul Aming improves the productivity and performance of his staff. Therefore, in his opinion, workers may find their confidence and desire to do their duties, finish their responsibilities and guide the business to its greatest heights of success. Khairul Aming is a very open person for ideas, thoughts and approaches. With these skills, his self-assurance helped him become a successful leader who could inspire others as well as his workforce. 03.


LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOR 1.TASK ORIENTATION Khairul Aming task-oriented leadership styles have been a key factor in his business success. By focusing on clear visions, goals and detailed processes. This behaviour of him often makes him the most successful and a respected leader in Malaysia. He is also known for his attention to detailing his business plans and his ability to set a clear goal for his business teams. He is committed to achieving the best result and his determination to succeed in whatever he does, helped him build a successful business career in this country. 2. RELATION ORIENTATION Relationship-oriented leaders put a lot of effort into encouraging, developing and supporting their team members and their internal connections and effective communication, this leadership style promotes effective cooperation and collaboration. Khairul Aming is a relations orientations person. Relationship orientation places more emphasis on the person that how they carried out the assignment. Khairul Aming's relationship orientation is that he always cares about his staff such as rewarding them by bringing them on a holiday and give them reward with money. 04.


1.POSITION POWER The ability or potential to influence is defined as power. When someone can influence other's actions, they have power. In the workplace, the individual with the most power is most frequently the business manager (Staff, 2020). Khairul Aming has characteristic that allowed him to wield power over another. Positional authority can be eliminated. Position power is the authority that a person derives from a certain office of rank in a formal organizational system positional power, unlike personal power, can be taken away. 2. PERSONAL POWER Personal power can be described as a title or a classification to be a highly effective leader. It requires personal power, which is the authority accorded to a person as a result of their abilities and qualifications. Khairul Aming using reward power for his personal power. It is the power of leader who notified their employees' performance. Khairul Aming had planned a company retreat located at Langkawi where he brings the teams to enjoy and take a break from hustle of work. It was held as an appreciation to the staff for their hard work to be a productive team. LEDERSHIP POWER 05.


06. CONCLUSION To summarise, leadership and management roles can be distinct while still being the same when building a company. Leadership is nothing if it does not create a management framework based on system, and management would be nothing without the work of leadership as the backbone of ideas. It is vital to remember that whatever leadership or management style is adopted must be related to basic principles. To be a successful in a future society, potential leaders and managers must identify and create a personal leadership style. It can be seen clearly from our glance, Khairul Aming has successfully planned his management in creating his own business after all ups and downs he has been through. Khairul Aming has become a good role model because of his determination, behaviour, skills and traits and also a lifestyle that makes everyone feel easy on him.
