The Level 2 Award and Diploma qualifications in Creative Media Production and Technology provides students with an introduction to a broad range of creative and technical skills in media production.
You will gain insight into the wide range
of roles and responsibilities in the media sector and the requirements for a career in the creative media industry. You will have the opportunity to research the history and context of media disciplines and feed this into your practice.
You will produce a portfolio of evidence via
a Final Major Project which will demonstrate your ability to integrate your skills, knowledge and understanding in an area of personal interest and prepare you for progression within a chosen discipline.
There will be the opportunity to study English and Mathematics at the appropriate level alongside the main qualification.

The Level 2 Award and Diploma in Music Performance and Production qualifications are for those who wish to explore and extend their interest in music performance and/or music production or a related subject through a full-time immersive learning experience.

The Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology is a broad diagnostic course with opportunities to engage with all of the processes that go into the creation of moving image products, looking at pre-production through to production and editing. Key areas covered will include film and television production, radio, photography, film studies and sound production.
Vocationally based in content, the course will give you an insight into the range of roles and responsibilities in the media sector and requirements for a career in the creative media industry.
Through project based learning, you will learn how to research, develop ideas and develop the technical skills and ability to evaluate outcomes.
There is opportunity to work with the Co-operative British Youth Film Academy (BYFA) where you will be involved in the completion of a full-length feature film at the end of the year with exclusive access to professional directors and actors, camera operation and production facilities.

LEVEL 3 CREATIVE AND CULTURAL (FIVE PATHWAYS) APPRENTICESHIPS (VARIABLE DURATION)
The Creative and Cultural sector is a rapidly growing and increasingly important part of the UK economy, currently employing over two million people. A Creative Apprenticeship allows entry into the Creative Industries where you will gain valuable experience in employment.
Opportunities exist which cover
five pathways:
•• LiveEventsandPromotions
•• CulturalHeritageVenueOperations •• CommunityArtsManagement
•• TechnicalTheatre(Lighting, Sound and Stage)
•• CostumeandWardrobe.
Most of the training takes place in the workplace, with additional day release at Bradford College.
You will achieve an Award/Certificate in Principles of the Creative and Cultural Sector (College based) and a Certificate/Diploma in one of the specialist pathways (work based).
You will gain on the job experience, earn a minimum of £3.30 per hours and work towards a recognised apprenticeship programme including a variety
of qualifications.
Assessment is carried out through the development of an e-portfolio of evidence.
