NEWS UPDATE - NEW YEAR 2022

Blessing of PAC's Atlanta Clinic

It was a day of celebration and hope for the future of families and preborn children in
Atlanta. The Esteemed Archbishop Gregory Hartmayer blessed PAC’s newest clinic on
December 14, a milestone in our work to protect and honor the sanctity of life. Dozens of
Pregnancy Aid Clinic friends, clergy, parish communities, and donors joined in the joyous
event.

Archbishop Hartmayer reminded the guests that our Lord and Savior came into this world
through an unplanned pregnancy, hailing the clinic as a great blessing so that life may have a
sanctuary from the moment of conception. Guests watched prayerfully as the archbishop
blessed the clinic rooms, the ultrasound machine donated by the Knights of Columbus
Council 8376 out of the Catholic Church of St. Ann, and a framed print of Our Lady of
Guadalupe, donated to the clinic as a reminder of Our Lady’s watchful presence.
PAC Executive Director Lisa Regan thanked our generous donors who made the new clinic
initiative possible. In addition to the hundreds of individual donors who gave generously to
facilitate the expansion, PAC is grateful for support from the Order of Malta, Federal
Association, the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, our Knights of Columbus partners,
and so many other passionate supporters.

The new clinic located in the heart of Atlanta at 440 Ralph McGill Boulevard allows PAC to
expand its reach to more vulnerable families, students, and singles populations in need of
free medical services, advocacy, education, and tangible support during pregnancy and
through the baby’s first two years of life.
For information on volunteering or supporting the expansion into Atlanta as well as the Forest Park and Roswell clinics, see the
ways to give page in this newsletter or on our website.

From the desk of Lisa Regan,
PAC Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Among the many lessons I’ve learned over the past two years is to not
underestimate the power of connection. We are made in the image of God, for
each other. Our relationships fuel our connection with the Divine and our
understanding of the sanctity of all life. Through a gentle pat on the back, a
baby’s smile, or the epiphany of seeing a heartbeat on the ultrasound screen-
signs of love and life are evident when we are present.

PAC’s mission to protect preborn lives is a responsibility and a privilege. And it is successful because of
our work together. As the Body of Christ we each do our own part, joining forces to provide a full range
of support for women and families in need of options for life. As we expand our reach into the heart of
Atlanta and beyond, we are focused on connecting with communities, schools, neighborhoods and
parishes, and with you- to ultimately strengthen our work for women and families. We are blessed
beyond measure with an extended family of passionate believers who go above and beyond in the
work to build the Kingdom of God. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all that you do and all
that you are. May 2022 bring a year of joy, good health and connections for you and your loved ones.

Christmas aCt hPArCistmas with our clients

Thanks to the generosity of parish communities, we
were once again able to offer several clients support
fCohr itrhsetmir ahsocliedlaeybcraetleiobnrations. Six PAC families
received meals and gifts provided by St. Andrew
parishioners including the St. Martin de Porres
Ministry of St. Andrew, as well as the St. Peter Chanel
Men's group and their adopt-a-family program.

Clients were so grateful for the help during a joyous,
yet stressful time of year. "I feel so blessed" one
pregnant client shared with her Client Advocate
when they were loading her car, packing gifts around
her two daughters in the back seat. We pray they
and all our clients had a joyous Christmas and a
happy new year!

Client Highlight

At Pregnancy Aid Clinic, we have so many beautiful examples of womanhood walk through our doors.
Though many are scared and confused, some of our clients walk in with confidence and clarity. Client T
was one of those clients. She was seeking an ultrasound, checking steps off the list in her pursuit of an
abortion. She sat with our client advocate and discussed her options, but stated that abortion was her
only option. A few moments later, during the ultrasound, Client T's demeanor changed. The scan
showed she was farther along than anticipated, and the growing, kicking, squirming baby inside her was
24 weeks along - too far to abort in the state of Georgia. Client T's world shattered; the option to carry her
child became less of a choice, it became a necessity. The PAC medical team and advocates sat with her as
she processed the reality of her motherhood and helped her feel empowered to take on her
responsibility. Client T has given birth to a beautiful child and is so grateful she came into PAC. She has
stated she is so grateful to receive support and direction from PAC and that she has been given the
chance to raise this baby. Praise God!

Surge in faith-based class participation

PAC’s faith-based classes drew more than 90 students,

logging 400 classroom hours in Nurturing God’s Way

and Biblical Women of Courage courses- a 40%

increase over 2020. “I love to see the women

connecting to each other and growing in faith, says

volunteer facilitator Judy Bullard. Their faith is what will

anchor them as parents and affirm their brave choice of

life.”

PAC students logged a milestone 1500 classroom hours

for all combined parenting, life skills and faith-based

classes in 2021, yielding families thousands of diapers

and baby items through earned rewards.

and expanding our reach

Volunteer spotlight
Volunteer Cathy Rockoff (pictured right) joined the PAC team in fall of
2021, working in the Roswell boutique and generally spreading joy
throughout the clinic. When Cathy noticed a dire shortage of size 4, 5,
and 6 diapers, she mobilized a massive diaper drive at her parish of St.
Michael the Archangel in Woodstock. A few short weeks later, Cathy
showed up with a truckload of diapers to supply our clients in both
clinics. We thank God for this woman’s witness to life-affirming ministry.

God bless all our wonderful volunteers and supporters!
This mission exists because of you!
