Using MUST
Must adalah modal verb dalam bahasa Inggris yang fungsi utamanya adalah untuk
menyatakan kewajiban. Must pada umumnya dipakai untuk menyatakan kewajiban

Kata bantu NEED TO, NEEDS TO juga bisa dipakai untuk mengutarakan keharusan
atau sesuatu itu bersifat penting untuk dilakukan.

Selanjutnya, kita bisa memakai frasa “it is necessary that…” untuk menyatakan

The holiday had come. At first, I had no ideas how to spend my free time. I had no plan because
I knew my parents were very busy. My father was finishing his project, while my mother had
to take care my little sister. She was just five months.
Luckily, one of my friends, zaki didn’t have any plans either, so he come to my house nearly
every day during the holiday. We did a lot of things.
On the first day, we went around the city by motorcycle. We stopped by at some malls in the
city and enjoy window shopping
The next day I thought Zaki how to play volleyball. It took three days for him to be able to do
the service well.
We spent the last two days by visiting museum in our city: Ronggowarsito and Mandala Bakti
museum. We learnt a lot of from the things displayed in the museum.

INTRODUCTION
A. Description
Here, we will learn about greeting card, an illustrated message that expresses
affection, good will, gratitude, symphaty, or other sentiments. I believe most
of you know about this kind of card. But do you know what are the differences
among those any kind of greeting cards? How to write sentence of greeting or
make a greeting card? If you don't, this modul will help you to achieve basic
competencies in the learning process. How to understand anykind of greeting
cards with some different seasons and how to make a greeting card with
suitable season. In this module you will have to analyze some different greeting
cards, see some videos with the links shared, and also do some tasks. I hope
you enjoy it.
B. Relevance
We use greeting card in our daily life to share what we feel about our family or
friends achievement. But can you distinguish any kind of greeting cards
according to the occasion? Can you make a good greeting of the card? Can you

Structure of greeting cards:
The receiver.
It is the name of someone who receive the card.
The body.
It contains your greeting, reason, wish, hope, or
compliment
The sender.
It is the name of someone who send the card.
But sometime both receiver and sender do not mention
Greeting cards are usually sent by mail in observance of a special
day or event and can be divided into two general classifications:
1. Seasonal. Seasonal cards include those for Idul Fitri,
Christmas, New Year, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or
Teacher's Day.
2. Everyday. While Everyday cards include baby born cards,
those commemorating birthdays, anniversaries, or births;
cards of condolence, congratulations, or friendship; as well
as get-well cards, gift cards, bon voyage cards, and thank you
cards.
