CRYSTAL F. HARALAMBOU


Director
Crystal holds a degree
in Theater from the University
of South Florida. In addition,
Crystal  trained at SAK
Comedy Lab in Orlando, and
was awarded a scholarship to
the Gilda Radner Funny
Women Festival at the
renowned Second City in Chicago. Attending
the Artistic New Directions Improv Intensive in
New York, Crystal learned from the best,
including Second City and LA Goundlings
performers, as well as former Saturday Night
Live writers. In addition, she studied with the
famed Improv Olympic in Chicago.

In 2009, Crystal founded the Dear Aunt
Gertrude Improv Troupe, at The Box Theater in
Ybor City, where she performs and directs. The
troupe had the honor of opening for NYC’s
Upright Citizen’s Brigade Touring Company
and has performed at the Sarasota and

Gainesville Improv Festivals.


Her rich theater career includes being
the former Program Manager for The Patel
Conservatory at The David A. Straz Center for
the Performing Arts, as well as serving as a
teaching artist and director in their education
program. Currently, Crystal is a teaching artist
with Ruth Eckerd Hall, The Mahaffey Theater
and The University of South Florida. She also
teaches improv classes. If it sounds like she’s
