TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: KENLEY RICHARDSON
Q: What are your plans after you graduate? A: I plan to go premed at a four-year, out- of-state university. I am not dead set on what I want to major in, but I am consider- ing neuroscience and exercise sciences.
Q: What would be your most memorable moment in all 4 years at Apopka?
A: My most memorable moment while at- tending AHS was the 2014 State Champi- onship football game.
Q: If you were stranded on a deserted is- land, who are three people you would want to be with you?
A. My best friend, Samantha Gonzalez, my cousin, Laurin Faircloth, and Caroline Klouse.
Q: Who let the dogs out? A: Not me.
Q: If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be?
A: BC Serna. He is a missionary and a world traveler. He visits different charitable organiza- tions all over the world and serves them while documenting through pictures and videos on social media.
Q; Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: I will (hopefully) be completing my residency!
Q: If you could take an all-expense paid vacation, where would you go to and why?
A: I'd go to Jinja, Uganda in Africa to visit an organization called "Sole Hope." Then I'd take an extended flight to Dassenhoek, South Africa so I could visit my babies at Ingane Yami again!
Q: What would be your life slogan?
A: "Lux in Tenebris." It's Latin for "Light in Darkness" and it comes from verse John 1:5.
Q: As valedictorian, what are some words you have to say to the class of 2017 before gradua- tion?
A: "Life's short. Talk Fast."

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: ASHLEY EWING
Q: Tell me about a time you set difficult goals. What did you do to achieve them?
A: One difficult goal I set was to succeed in both soccer and school. I took every opportunity to work on my soccer skills, including club, JV and Varsity, two indoor leagues, 3v3, and pri- vate training. I put as much effort into it as I have with my school- work. Even though it was difficult to balance sports and school, I played because I love soccer and couldn’t give it up. Although it meant many late nights, it was worth it.
Q: Who is a person who has had the most significant effect on your life?
A: Both of my parents have because they always encourage me to work hard. They made me feel proud of what I’ve achieved. Most of my motivation is self-derived, but their encouragement helped me reach where I am today.
Q: If life is so short, then why do we do so many things we don’t like, and like so many things we don’t do?
A: People do what they feel pressured into or required to do. Instead, you should “Do what makes your soul shine.” Pursue your passions. I plan on studying Global Health because it incor- porates many different subjects and will allow me to delve into my diverse interests. I also have a passion for writing and don’t want to sacrifice that, so I’ll study English as well.
Q: What’s one thing you’d like to change about the world?
A: I want to mitigate global health disparities. Everyone deserves the human right of health, yet not all people have access to healthcare. The ability to eliminate diseases exists, but they can’t be eradicated without a broader distribution of treatments. I want to help tear down the barriers blocking international well-being.
Q: What are 5 words that describe you?
A: Motivated, hard-working, kind, athletic, and intelligent.
Q: What do you dream about most often?
A: I dream about connecting with others. I am pursuing a career in the medical field because to me, being a doctor is about impacting lives through human connections and caring for patients who are beyond their stats. Past the medical field, I want to connect with people through my writings, which will forever reveal my perspectives to others.
Q: Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
A: I initially viewed many artists as insane. My perspective changed immensely because of taking AP Art History. My favorite artists are Banksy, Keith Haring, Oldenburg, and Kandinsky. Before taking art history, I would have thought that these artists were insane and that their creations should barely be considered art. Now I’m open to their creativity and I consider them geniuses.
Q: Why are you, you?
A: It’s against my nature to give up. I love being challenged and feel that I am not reaching my full potential if I don’t accept the challenges that are presented to me. Therefore, I take on many challenges with determination.
Q: What is your greatest fear, and has it ever come true?
A: My greatest fear is losing someone close to me. I don’t know what I would do if a close friend or family member passed away. Thankfully, this fear has never come true. However, I think about it a lot. So, before someone I’m close to hangs up the phone or leaves a place, I have to tell them I love them before they do.
Q: If you won a million dollars, and what is the first thing you would do?
A: I would set money aside for college and donate to the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO). This year, I started a “PJammin for Kids with Cancer” and raised $1,674 for the ACCO. If I won a million dollars, I would continue to help them.

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: LAUREN FINDLEY
Q: What are your aspirations after high school?
A: To not suck off of the government's teet as well as help to improve my community wherever I live.
Q: What kind of world changes do you want to see in the future?
A: LESS IGNORANCE! I have heard people say that feminism is Satan, Trump has enough experience for the job of POTUS, and that gender discrimination on a glob- al level is "not a thing.” These sorts of statements were made by people who will, in just a few short years, be vot- ing in our democratic system. I am really hoping that in the future, there is a greater understanding of major issues in the world instead of superfluous opinions based off of gossip or biased news organizations. There needs to be a more informed population.
Q: How do you feel knowing that you've made it into the top 10?
A: I feel really confused because a large portion of my time was spent eating or sleeping. I am proud, though, because I know deep down that this didn't happen all by accident. I had to take hard classes and stay awake/ focused long enough to get A's, so I guess once I move past the shock, I feel accomplished. Although, I must note that colleges don't care nearly as much about ranking as we are led to think.
Q: What is one thing that you would change in the world?
A: I would remove sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, and basically all the bigotry that holds us, as humans, back from working together and tackling actual issues (such as poverty, global warming, and terrorism). No one is born with hate, and so the optimistic hippie in me hopes to eradicate these absurd notions off the face of the Earth through education, outreach, and activism in general.
Q: What is your favorite hobby and why?
A: I LOVE RAISING CHICKENS. They are majestic birds who are adorable and depending on the breed, even fluffy, and also personable. I really enjoy raising them from when they are tiny chicks to adulthood, so that I can brainwash them into thinking I am their mother. This has resulted in me going out into their pens and being surrounded by dozens of birds all flocking to me. It is the highlight of my day. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Q: What's something that many people don't know about you?
A: Most people do not know that when I was born, I was a whopping 9 lbs. 13 oz. and the doctor called me a "little monster;" truer words have never been spoken.
Q: What is your favorite memory of high school that you will take with you?
A: My favorite memory is when my friend and fellow founder of Feminists United, Eileen and I went around the school put- ting up posters announcing our new club. Although we didn't accomplish everything we wanted to, at that moment, we were on the precipice of something exciting and something we had made together to incite change within our community. It was one of the first times I felt I was being truly constructive in helping to better society.

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: DENNESE JAVIER
Q: What is a source of inspiration for you?
A: Walt Whitman’s poem “O Me! O Life!” reminds me not to waste time and to create something valuable while I’m alive.
Q: Describe senioritis.
A: I’m absolutely crazy and staying up until 3 AM to do home- work was normal for me, so once I started choosing sleep over memorizing formulas for arc length or figuring out which way a proton would move in a certain magnetic field, I knew I was affected by senioritis. I also found myself calculating the lowest grades I could possibly get to maintain an A for my end of year grades.
Q: “I will always remember...”
A: Two memories come to mind. The first took place in the Vatican. I was so captivated by the paintings in the Sistine Chap- el, that I didn’t notice my group had left. Little did I know that while I was looking for my group, the camera in my bag was videoing the entire time. The second memory took place at 4 AM on the day my ACT scores were coming out. I knew they were coming out at 8, but there was no harm in trying. Once the page loaded, it revealed that I had gotten a perfect score. I then ran to my parents’ room crying.
Q: What will you miss most about Apopka?
A: My teachers. Over the years, I’ve developed relationships
with amazing people who would go to the ends of the world to
support me. Whether it be writing extensively on my behalf,
editing thousands of words for my Capstone papers, or reread-
ing my college essays over and over to make sure there were no
misplaced commas, indefinite nouns, or unnecessary parenthe-
ses, my time at Apopka wouldn’t have been the same without these remarkable people.
Q: If you had an unlimited amount of funds to travel, where would you go and why?
A: I grew up reading books about the missing pieces of history. These books developed my desire to travel to these places to fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle. I’d investigate the Valley of the Kings in Egypt in search of Queen Nefertiti’s tomb, scour the cities of Russia searching for any trace of the Grand Duchess' escape, and voyage through the seas in search of the island of Atlantis, the ghost ship Mary Celeste, and rem- nants of Amelia Earhart's airplane. The experiences I would have would allow me to unveil the information I have longed for. And while I’m no Jack Kerouac, I think a book detailing my discoveries would be something worthwhile.
Q: Which subject do you think prepares you most for life after high school? Why?
A: While I loved all my classes, in AP Capstone I was able to integrate multiple fields of knowledge into something that I created. In Capstone, I wrote thesis papers on the societal sexualization of breastfeeding, how bilingualism mitigates the native languages/ cultures of immigrants, and am currently working on a paper on how affirmative action policies adversely affect Asian Americans in the admissions process for elite univer- sities. If you asked me what any of this meant two years ago, I would’ve been clueless. Through this class, I learned how to research and im- proved my writing and presentation skills exponentially. I can’t stress how important it is to have the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas enough, and Capstone gave me just that.
Q: What’s something that you love, but would be embarrassed to admit?
A: I used to be embarrassed to admit that I love karaoke, but over time I’ve embraced my title as the Karaoke Queen.
Q: What are you planning to major in, and why?
A: I’m planning on majoring in English. Through English I discovered my love of books and of writing, and it is because of this I want to con- tinue exploring the dynamic nature of the written world, stretching myself beyond the books and taking part in the written revolution.
Q: Any last words?
A: “Smell the artichokes!! Does it smell like oil or butter??”

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: JULIANNE MAZZARO
Q: How does it feel to be amongst the top of your class? Do you feel fulfilled and satisfied with your ac- complishment?
A: It feels great to be at the top of the class. My accom- plishments in the classroom are important, but my ac- complishments I’ve achieved outside of the classroom are what continue to drive me. The fact that I am in the top ten will help me get into college, but the engineering and technical education I received in high school helped me develop my passion and realize what I want- ed to do with the rest of my life. I am proud of what I have achieved in these four years.
Q: What has fundamentally motivated you throughout high-school to be where you are now?
A: My family has been a big motivator for me. Also, a desire to do something with myself. I want to make an impact in the world.
Q: Do you think people’s perception of you is based mainly off your achievements, academically?
A: I would hope people see me as more than a summa- tion of my grades, but being a diligent student does help me start off on the right foot with teachers.
Q: Though you are, objectively, among the best of our
class, do you feel like there was something you should have done differently concerning your time as a high-school student?
A:I would not change a thing. The engineering magnet was amazing, I loved every minute of high school. My advice is go to every home football game you can because I regret not going to more of them this year.
Q: What college are you going to or planning to go to? A: I plan to attend University of Florida.
Q: Do you get the bare minimum of hours of sleep to be functional during the day?
A: On a typical day I actually go to bed at 9pm, and wake up at 4:30 or 5 to do homework. As of senior year, however, I wake up at 6 at the earliest (senioritis is REAL).
Q: Have you ever felt like you were sacrificing your social life to maintain your high rank?
A: I would not consider myself a social butterfly necessarily, but I’m pretty sure that’s just me. I always participated in sports and extracurricular activities, I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a little over a year, and I have a close little group of friends. I think I have done pretty well, socially.
Q: In one adjective, how would you define your achievement? A: Hard-won. It was not easy, but I am proud.
Q: Are you doing any sports or extracurriculars on top of your academics?
A: I am captain of the girls swim team and also played one year of water polo. I am also President of Science National Hon- or Society, treasurer of Technical Honor Society, and a member of NHS. I compete in robotics with my team and have a robot that qualified for worlds. I go to a monthly internship with Northrop Grumman. I think that’s about it.

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: ABIGAIL MERIDITH
Q: If you could live in a book, movie, or TV show, what would it be?
A: I would live in The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand be- cause the characters live for themselves, not to please other people.
Q: How did you decide that you wanted to become an astronomer? Was this always what you have wanted to do?
A: No, I had no clue what I wanted to do until about a year and a half ago. I was on Twitter one day and saw a picture of space, and for some reason it made me so emotional. I realized that life was the biggest juxtaposi- tion in the universe– literally. Space had completely captivated me since then, and I want to spend the rest of my life studying our surroundings.
Q: What class at Apopka has made the biggest impact
on you?
A: All of my classes have made a huge impact on me
and the connections I’ve made with all of my teachers
have been amazing. The class that has made the biggest
impact on me, I think, is AP Capstone. This class has
helped me with valuable skills that cannot be found in
any other class at Apopka. I can write research papers
without an issue, and I have the courage to speak in
front of a large group without any hesitations. It has helped me grow as a person and student tremendously.
Q: What high school memory will you always remember?
A: The high school memory I will always remember will be my junior homecoming. My friends and I were late to take pic- tures at Ponkan, so we decided not to take the sidewalk down to the lake and just walk quickly down the hill... big mistake. I was in high heels and took the biggest fall down that hill. Little did I know that someone was recording me, and so the entire school has seen my homecoming fall.
Q: What’s your favorite emoji?
A: The emoji that’s rolling its eyes is my favorite because it perfectly explains my mood 24/7.
Q: What is your definition of ‘home?”
A: “Home” to me is not a place; it is wherever my family is.
Q: If you could pick your last words, what would they be? A: The bees are dying at an alarming rate!
Q: What motivates you to push through the homework plagued late nights?
A: Knowing what my goals were (stay in Top 10 and one day work for NASA) helped me persevere through the endless late nights. I wanted to quit so many times, but I knew my goals were bigger than the few nights of suffering. I had to make it through the hard times to get to the good!
Q: What advice would you give your freshman self?
A: You’re smarter than you think, so take advantage of every opportunity and don’t doubt yourself!

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: BENJAMIN SCHULZ
Q: What are the pros and cons of being in the top ten?
A: The pros of being in the top ten is that you are almost guaranteed acceptance in- to Florida's public colleges. A con is that a majority of your time goes into school work, and you don't get a lot of free time.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? A: In five years I see myself having gradu- ated college and getting a job at an engi- neering firm. Also having an Irish Wolf- hound.
Q: What is your favorite memory from these past four years?
A: My favorite memory from these past four years is being a captain for the water polo team this year.

A: My parents inspire me to excel.

Q: What do you plan to do after high school?
A: After high school I plan to attend UCF and get an Industrial Engineering degree.
Q: If you could wake up in the body of someone else tomorrow, who would it be and what would you do?
A: I'd choose to wake up in the body of Morgan Freeman, so I could know what it is like to be a God.
Q: What is one thing you will miss about Apopka High School?
A: One thing I'll miss about Apopka High School are some of the teachers that have really had an impact on me.

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: CHARDAE SCOTT
Q: What celebrity would make a good president? A: I believe Michelle Obama would make a good president. She knows the ins and out of presiden- cy already, and she was very active in a lot of Americans’ lives without the role presidency. Not only that, but she empowers every woman to be the best they can be. Also, she is very big on health which is something the U.S needs to look into.
Q: If you could choose any musical artist(s) to perform at this year’s graduation, who would it be?
A: Monica or Nicki Minaj because I love the two; their talent and creativity is amazing.
Q: If you could use only one, would you use Net- flix or YouTube?
A: YouTube because it has more options.
Q: Do believe social media is a problem or a so-
lution to our society?
A: Both; many feel they must conform to social
media. Individuality is becoming extinct because
of social media. Social media has brought the world together but separated many from themselves. Social media bullying has become an epidemic but has also opened our eyes to other opinions and cultures other than our own. The world is enormous but, social media has made everyone neighbors which can be good or bad.
Q: Who would you trade places with for a week?
A: Oprah Winfrey because she overcame adversity and is not wasting her wealth. I would love to travel the world and help families in South Africa and Afghan just like her. Oprah Winfrey is one in a million.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Modeling has always been my dream job since I was little.
Q: If you could live in a fictional world, what would it be?
A: A world where there are no bills, no violence, no worries. Everyone just living in unison with each other. A world where literally all your dreams can come true.
Q: What would you name your own roller coaster? A: KrazeDae.
Q: Predict what the next trend will be.
A: Back to nineties clothing because it is already happening. Old tends are becoming the new trends.

TOP TEN INTERVIEWS: CHARLIZE SOTO
Q: Where do you plan on going to college and what do you want to major in?
A: I'm still in the process of deciding, but I've narrowed it down to USF UCF and UF. I plan on majoring in pre-medicine to become a pediatrician.
Q: What motivated you throughout the years?
A: My goal to become a pediatrician has kept me motivated for the past couple years
Q: If you had $50 in your pocket, how would you spend it?
A: If I had $50 I would probably spend it all on books or on a ticket to a musical playing at the Dr. Phillips Center.
Q: What has been your must have school supply?
A: The calculator! To solve for x and not knowing y (ha ha math humor).
Q: What was your favorite childhood movie?
A: My favorite childhood movie would have to be Dumbo.
Q: What is your favorite snack?
A: My favorite snack has to be popcorn especially when I'm watching a good movie or TV show.

A: One show that I binge watched that was memorable was The Walking Dead because it was on Christmas day because that was my cousin’s Christmas gift.
Q: What was your best Halloween costume?
A: I don’t celebrate Halloween, but the best costume I've worn has to be of Rey from Star Wars that I put on for spirit week.

ADVICE FROM THE TOP TEN TO UNDERCLASSMEN
“Make sure you start taking the ACT and SAT as early as possible. Join as many clubs as you have time for. Find something you're really passionate about, and volunteer for an organization or event that repre- sents that passion. It will make community service more fun!” - Kenley Richardson
“Don’t procrastinate, and work hard in school. You can achieve anything you set your mind to. Howev- er, keep in mind school isn’t everything. Find your interests outside of school, and commit to them. Your dedication is what’s most important to colleges, and above all, your own happiness.” - Ashley Ewing
“I would warn underclassmen to worry more about being quality, well rounded people rather than on being a single digit number on a list of kids born the same year as you, attending the same address allot- ted, public education system. Tis madness I tell you! And between me and the entire student popula- tion, the fight for a higher GPA can turn innocent teenagers into bloodthirsty snakes that must be backed away from slowly. Try not to get sucked into this wormhole, not everyone comes out the way they went in.” - Lauren Findley
“Find your passion, and let it be the fuel that gets you through the late nights that are coming. Define your goals, and put in the work to make them happen. Prepare for the SAT and ACT ahead of time; don’t wait until the week before your test. Don’t write your college essays last minute. Make sure that your essays genuinely show who you are. Never underestimate your abilities. Do what makes you happy. And lastly, write, write, write!” - Dennese Javier
“It takes focus and discipline to get to the top. It is not easy. That being said, extracurricular activities can be more important than grades. If you don’t make it to the top, do not let it define you. Do not put too much stake on the number you are in your class; you can still be very successful.” - Julianne Mazzaro
“Never underestimate yourself! You may think you can’t do something, but always try because in the end you may surprise yourself.” - Abigail Meridith
“The best advice I can give is to use your time wisely. A dedicated hour to study will be a lot more help- ful than four hours of on and off studying.” - Benjamin Schulz
“Type everything the teacher says on one note, research anything you’re confused on. Create mnemonic devices to remember, and read aloud to yourself unit by unit. Then focus on the things that challenge you.” - Chardae Scott
“Try to do your best in class, don’t procrastinate on big projects, stay organized, get involved in school activities, and don’t listen to the voices of negativity that try to tell you what you can and can’t do.” - Charlize Soto
“Do what you love, and love what you do. You can get good grades and still have fun in high school; make sure you enjoy your experiences.” - Peyton Buckley

Luzymar Resto

Mr. Houvouras
By far the most memorable class junior year and one I would have never taken if I wasn’t in 2D art. I’ve never had a teacher make me apply myself and strive to do more than enough. You have made all your students learn to appreciate ALL art, something that will stick with us forever. You made me a hard working person, and I will attribute my success to people like you. Keep it real.
Logan Dragone
Dr. Kendall
Just wanted to say thank you for all your help in AP Lang. You have strengthened my writing abilities and taught me to express my own feelings when it comes to writing. P.S. the best teachers never stop learning.
Xavier Moore
Thank you for being my teacher and coach. Flv days were always my favorite, and I’ll miss them when I graduate. I always enjoyed our talks, and I hope to see you at some water polo games.
Ben Schulz
Coach Lassiter
You were very helpful with my classes; you are a great teacher.
Letha Blake Harmon
Mr. Mellon
Having psych 7th period is the best way to end any day but especially rough ones. By the end of the day the bags have set under my eyes and I look abrasive. I respect the hesitancy but I am always down to joke with you. I appreciate you building a class where everyone can’t wait to hear what you say next, myself included. You are a good guy, Mellon. Thank you.
Logan Drag1
Mr. Klenk

Ms. Modesto
You have been a phenomenon in my high school experience. Not only did you teach great, but you made me feel more confident in myself in terms of my education. I admire your effort and hope nothing but blessings onto your life. Remain great, generous, and prosperous.
Hanniel Francois
Ms. Palmer
Thank you so much for your patience and help throughout all four of my high school years. I can honestly say you really were someone from this school that meant a lot to me. <3
Ashawna Taylor
Mrs. Partain
This woman is like my 2nd mom. I could talk to her about anything. Her class really made my day better. Love you, Partain <3
Stephanie Gahr
Thanks, Mr. Peters for everything you have done for me. Being in SGA throughout high school has been a great experience for me. Thanks for being you always and for letting SGA be such a great place for all of us.
Aneesah Au
Thank you for the help and for being a helpful teacher with my classwork in all of my classes and help for my grades and my goals.
Joseph Deluca
Mr. Peters
Ms. Powers

Ms. Richard
I’ll miss our sass-filled encounters. Somehow you managed to teach me about time management. You encouraged me to branch out from Florida schools, and hopefully, I got into the out-of-state schools I applied to! Sophomore Class Council was ten times more fun with you and Lieffers as our sponsors, but it was even more fun when we put you in the jail. I’ll miss you so, so much. Thank you for always believing in me and pushing me to make the most out of my abilities. Love you forever and ever.
Dennese Javier
Mr. Rosenow
Ok, so there has only been about three people in this world that have made me understand math, and you’re one of them. Thank you for taking your time teaching us and always making sure we understand. You’re also just an awesome human being! I hope you get to be president one day! You always have my vote!
Haley McGee
Mr. Rotenburg
Although I didn’t start my junior year with you, you made me feel welcome the day I did transfer into your class. From that day on, I have never been more excited to come to school and learn and grow. You not only taught me how to critically think, but I learn life lessons from you every day. I will always remember you and how much of an impact you made on me. Thank you for being so awesome.
Victoria Burgett
Mr. Russell
Rose are red. Water is blue. Thanks for teaching me economics, world, Euro, and water polo, too.
David Whalen

Mr. Sanders,
From having you junior to senior year, you’ve made a huge impact. I have learned so much from you and many life lessons that I will take with me as I take the next step in my life. Thank you for everything!
Victoria Burgett
Thanks for giving me a chance to be a stage manager and carving out a new perspective on what I want to be. My love for music and production was strengthened from you giving me a chance.
Shayla Bratcher-Brown
Mrs. Sopher
You have been my favorite teacher since my tenth grade year. Thank you so much for being hard on me and helping me when it is needed. Being in the Early Childhood Program has meant a lot to me and played a huge part in my life. I’m so happy that I got to spend three out of four in your class learning and growing. Being in the program helped me decide what I want to do after high school and in life. Thank you for making such a huge impact on my life.
Ashlynn Wade
Mr. Talbert
Thanks for being one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. You make your class interesting and actually care about your students. You da realest.
P.S: Sorry, Shea Butta, Desha and I couldn’t crash your wedding. I know you must have been disappointed.
Haley Mott
Ms. Taylor
You have been a huge help to me when it came to classes and my peers.
Letha Blake Harmon
Ms. Shafer

Mr. Trompeter
Thank you for making my freshman year so much fun and for never shooting me with the Nerf guns. Your class was the best language arts class I have ever had. I loved playing the part of Emo Juliet and watching lightsaber fights outside. Hopefully, I never get any drips in the Hate Bucket like Esteban did.
Carson Broadwater
Mrs. Van Landingham
Thank you for teaching me so much about medicine and the medical field as a whole. You’re a great teacher, and you always have a positive attitude. You’re the only teacher that’s had me for four consecutive years, so thank you for putting up with me for that long.
Alexandria Herbert
Mrs. Villa
Thank you for helping expand my Spanish knowledge and furthering my love for the language! I really enjoy your class! I wish I had taken Spanish earlier so I could’ve taken more classes with you!
Sophie O’ Brien
Ms. Wesighan
Thank you so much for all you do. You’re the only teacher who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their students succeed. From staying late after school for tutoring, to overly explaining the concepts in class. I went in to Probability and Statistics Honors as a student who absolutely despised math but came out loving statistics and wanting to learn more. When I told my mom I was taking AP Statistics she thought I was crazy! But having a good teacher really makes all the difference. I’m so blessed to have had you as my teacher the past two years, and I’m going to miss you and your style of teaching a lot! Thank you for giving me my new found love for statistics and for being such an incredible teacher!
Bayleigh Howe

Mrs. West
You have the warmest heart; you’re very loving to all your students no matter the circumstances. You were always there for me and helped me when I needed it. I will always be grateful.
Tyler Wright
Dr. Williams
I appreciate you because you helped me find a better way to success. At the rate I was going, I would’ve never even started my college applications. You’ve made me feel loved every time I stepped through the door of your classroom. You kept me out of trouble when I definitely needed guidance. When I first met you I knew that you demanded your respect, so I gave it to you even when we would bump heads. Thank you for daring and seeing so much potential in me that I didn’t even in myself. (Love you)
Torrell Wright
Mrs. Woods
My second mother, the knowledge and advice you have bestowed upon me will never be forgotten; you will always Mama Woods and a gift from god, and I will always visit “te amo maestro.”
Armani Moody
Mrs. Wyatt
You don’t even know how much I appreciate you. You have been so accepting and always willing to help and give advice. Thank you for always being L.G.B.T+ friendly and always being open about it.
Haley McGee
