BAND SAW
When you use a good band saw, you can easily cut metal, wood,
and a variety of other materials, the right band saw will have you
turning into a modern-day craftsman in no time.
Number 1. DEWALT MAX Portable Band Saw.
ZV2- The DEWALT MAX Portable Band Saw is a band saw
that is designed for the DIYer. It comes with a metal blade,
which means you’ll be able to cut up to 2-inch SCH 40 pipe.
This feature makes it perfect for professionals who need to
cut pipes at their job site. The Centered Band Saw Handle
provides more accuracy and less user fatigue. The handle
also has an ergonomic soft grip back handle that provides
comfort and flexibility. In addition, the DEWALT MAX
Portable Band Saw has dual-bearing guide rollers, ensuring
the smooth operation of the blade on its track. The blade
guard is not included in the box and has to be purchased
separately. That shouldn’t be too much of an issue for most
people who aren’t planning on cutting large pieces of wood
with this saw.
Number 2. POWERTEC BS900 9 Inch Benchtop Bandsaw.
ZV3- A powerful essential for all those who work with
cutting wood, the Powertec BS900 is the kind of band saw
that helps deliver precision cuts up to 3 5/8 inches deep
and 9 inches wide. In comparison to other band saws, it
also gives irregular shape cutting with the right detail. This
saw comes with a patented blade guard adjustment for an
easy and quick blade replacement. Also present is a 2-inch
dust port that will keep all the workplaces, including your
work table, clear of dust.
Besides its excellent safety features, band saw also has a
table with rack and Pinion adjustment for a 45-degree
angle tilt. Since the motor is 2.5 amp, it is ideal for projects
that require you to cut wood with various thickness. The
distance of the blade to the arm may be too tight.
Number 3. WEN 3962 Two-Speed Band Saw with Stand.
ZV4- Although it’s a 10 inch band saw, this WEN 3962 band saw
comes with a heavy duty stand that elevates it high enough,
making it easier to use. For all their versatility, full-size band saws
take up a lot of room in a shop (and take a lot of money from the
wallet). WEN’s 3959 makes a smart choice for those who don’t
have much floor space or cash to spare. While not multi-speed,
the 2.5-amp motor runs a 59½-inch blade at 2,500 rpm plenty for
most general work. A large worktable measures 12¼ inches by
11⅞ inches and bevels up to 45 degrees. A miter gauge and rip
fence allow for more accurate cuts. Be aware: The 2½-inch dust
collection port, the only option, will require an adapter to hook up
to a smaller shop vacuum.

Saw.
ZV5- The JET JWBS-14DXPRO band saw is a high end
professional style machine for cutting wood, metal, and much
more. It sports a two speed poly-v belt drive system to cut at
1,500 or 3,000 surface feet per minute. This two tier speed
function allows for extra precision when you’re making your cuts,
allowing you to customize your approach based on your materials
and project. The saw can slice into material as wide as 13 1/2
inches and as high as 12 inches. This floor standing band saw
has a 15-inch by 15-inch sturdy and stable cutting surface that
can tilt 10 degrees left and 45 degrees right, letting you tailor the
tool to your needs, particularly when making delicate cuts. It has a
resawing function and a full cast iron frame. This machine also
has ball bearing guides, an adjustable table angle, and numerous
safety features, such as a blade tracking window.
Number 5. RIKON 10-3061 10" Deluxe Bandsaw.
ZV6- Rikon has been a leader in power tool manufacturing for over
60 years. A long time ago, Rikon was known for its saws, drills, and
other power tools. The company is still producing some of the best
power tools on the market today. The company’s 10-3061 Deluxe
Band Saw and 5/16” x 70-1/2” 6TPI band saw blade are great
options for any woodworker. The motor on this product is 1/2HP
which is more than enough to handle larger projects such as
cabinetry or cabinets made from multiple wood pieces. The only
downside to this product is that it maxes out at just under the
advertised 5 inches of wood thickness before the blade guides
would start to get in the way during usage. You might want to pay
attention to that if you’ll be working with exact 5-inch wood stocks
more than a few times in your workshop.
