Welcome to IGNITE!

Over the next couple of months, we will be making several
exciting transformations across the business. The main
objective of this is to save time and increase overall
productivity.
As we roll out these requests, we need everyone to take
action and work as a team.

Regular communication will be received in this format and
all topics will be added to the CX & OX manuals within
SharePoint.

We appreciate your efforts & value your contribution to
our future together!

WEEK 42

Standard Operational Procedure: Cleaning

• Full cleaning and dusting of floor fixtures, mannequins
• Full cleaning and dusting of mirrors and windows
• Cleaning under seating areas, benches, moving fixtures as needed
• Cleaning and dusting under footwear wall

BIWEEKLY

• Full sweep and mop of stock room (Store Leadership determines days)
• Full cleaning / dusting of footwear shelving
• Full dusting / cleaning behind POS equipment

* Spot Check - a test made without warning on a randomly selected subject

Reduce time associated with overall store communications

PROCEDURES

1. Align globally on Conference Call frequency, limit District calls
to Biweekly and VM/Banner calls quarterly to reduce time
associated with calls.

2. Store teams to have single communication board which will
incorporate Team Member Experience & Omni Experience in one.

3. Reduce Outlook Email communication to limit & reduce time
associated with login frequency.

4. Microsoft Teams launched for store team members to improve
ways of communication and reduce time associated with multiple
communication streams. (More features added in 2023)

WEEK 45

Standard Operational Procedure: VM

To optimize our daily maintenance while providing “Premium
Experiences” for our guests!

POLICY

• Maintaining VM standards with footwear, apparel, & accessories while elevating the customer
experience. Focus on elevating our collections to help provide a clear message to our consumer

daily upkeep, premium standards, and story-telling.

PROCEDURES

1. Ensure all size stickers are removed from apparel items.
2. Ensure folded apparel is stacked in sized order, from smallest to largest & from top to bottom.
3. Review folding standards in VM Guidelines for proper number per stacks (5- full range of sizes)

for Tees & Fleece. If you don’t have all sizes, repeat the more commercial ones (central sizes).
4. Hang all apparel by size from smallest to largest, from front to back on the wall standard or floor

fixture. Size cubes are no longer used in store presentation (except in stores with new hangers).
5. Ensure adult hangers are used for all mens, womens & GS apparel. Specific kids hangers should

be used for PRE/INF.
6. For Sale APP Racks follow proper set up with signage, group by price and use size dividers.
7. Check all VM guidelines every Monday morning and set up all Marketing components to create

consistency amongst our stores & show off our collections from all vendor brands.

8. Ensure there is a dedicated space in stock room for VM material. Check the VM instructions
regularly and trash POS accordingly.

9. Check the FL-VM SharePoint site for the store database after every sale/mid-season sale. Ensure
accuracy and report any discrepancies to your DM/RVM.

WEEK 45

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

ELIMINATE SIZE STICKERS/CUBES
❑ Remove all apparel size stickers, destroy & dispose of all remaining size stickers.
❑ Remove all size cubes.
VM STANDARDS
❑ Hang all apparel by size from smallest to largest, from the front to the back of the wall or floor

fixture.
❑ Keep folded apparel in stacks of sized order, from smallest to largest & top to bottom.
❑ Ensure size ratios are adhered to/back-fill with best selling sizes.
❑ Utilize all correct sized hangers for apparel by gender Men, Women & Kids INF/PS/GS.
