projects that currently have us running and

LOOKING AHEAD

Much of this transformative time can
be attributed to our Stellar Communities
designation, which we received from the
State of Indiana in 2017. It gave Madison
up to $6,000,000 in grant funds and tax
credits to make our vision for Madison
come true, which you can see has started
in earnest. But we’re not done running yet!
There is still more to come, including ren-
ovating and reopening the Ohio Theatre,
creating a new splash pad and Playground
for All Children on Madison’s hilltop,
creating a pocket park on Walnut Street to
commemorate the Underground Railroad,
and adding sidewalks to Clifty Drive to
improve pedestrian connectivity. With all
of this happening in Madison over the next
few years, you’d be hard pressed to find a
community that is running faster...so lace
up your shoes and join us as we run into
the future! 
