Outlaw Olympics

Put on your Stetsons and limber up your shootin' arm for a trip to the

outlaw days of the Wild West. In order to consider yourself a true
cowboy, put on your Justins, round up your posse, and let the

adventure begin. Teams will compete in a variety of western themed
challenges, by hook or crook.

Rustlers' Round Up: While mounted on stick horses, team members

must rope and rustle the rancher's cattle! Teams must work together to
expand the loop around their target cattle then carry it away, all while riding

their stick horse mounts.
Jenga Rush: Train up your team for this. Players must take apart the saloon

as fast as possible.
Chain Gang Escape: The gang has been caught! Teammates will be tied

together in a line, ankle to ankle, and must race to safety before they can
remove their shackles or face the Calaboose. Don’t get tangle-legged!

Liars' Blackjack: The gang must hurry to beat the blackjack dealer multiple
times to win back their ill-gotten loot.

Sharp Shooter: The saloon owner is behind on his rent. Time
for the gang to rough up the joint and send him a message.

Teams will be heeled with a rubber band gun with which to
shoot down a line of ping pong balls off sarsaparilla bottles.

Cow Pie Tossin': Cow Pie tossin' is a time-honored cowboy
tradition. Cowpokes work as a team to oil up their shootin’ arm

to chuck as many bean bags through the hole.
California Caller: Teams engage in the classic game of

hangman to prove their wits.
Blazin’ Bolas: Our cowboy neighbors south of the border used bolas primarily for hunting,

but cowboys playing this game will throw their bolas at a stationary target for points.
Home Is Where Your Hat Hangs: Every cowboy needs a safe place to hang his Stetson,

and a horseshoe is as good a place as any! Players take turns attempting to hang their hat
on the horseshoe hat rack. The team with the most hats hung, wins!

Quick Draw: Quick hands and a keen eye are the name of the game. Rustle up your
partners and show off your aim. Knock over shot glasses to prove your skills.

Complete all the challenges in record time and precision before the jig is up!

Military Care Packages from Home

United States soldiers come in all stripes. Our military men and women
are deployed for many months, even years, at a time while performing a
variety of services for our country. During deployment, communication
is limited among family and friends, husbands, wives, and even sons
and daughters. This opportunity will allow you and your team to create
and send a package overseas that will cater to a serviceman or
servicewoman that your teams have in mind.

Squads will compete in a variety of basic training military
challenges, to collect items to send in their care package.

Teamwork is the focus of the day, so squad mates will have to
work together in order to earn top rankings.

Marksmanship: Using keen eyesight and a steady hand, each

member of your squad must hit a target down range to complete

your mission.
Ropes Course: The ropes course is a staple of basic
training; your squad must unravel the Human Knot to
proceed to the next checkpoint.
Long-range Communication: Garbled communications
can prevent a squad from completing their mission. Can the
message travel down your chain of command intact?
Cryptography: Your squad must decode an important
coded communiqué to learn their next objective.
Virtual Battlefield: Technology has forever changed the way the military operates, but what
happens when technology goes dark? Your squad must now use outdated technology to fly a
successful mission.
Objective Logistics: Accurate intelligence is one of the most important weapons in the
military arsenal. Your squad must cooperate to correctly identify mission objectives on a
distorted map.
Active Air Duty: Squad must successfully fly drones (balloons) in the air for a period of time
ensuring that that takeoff and landing are handled with precision.
Ground Cargo: Space is at a premium, and every soldier needs essential gear to be
successful. Your squad must properly prepare your tactical backpack before your transport
can head out.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot: The US Armed Forces have a long and fascinating history. Does
your squad have appropriate knowledge of the more colorful moments?
Letters from Home: After a long day of military training, each member of the squad will have
the opportunity to sit down and write a personal letter of appreciation or a simple hello from
home to the men and women who will receive these care packages.
