This is my first time traveling
alone to London. I decided to
travel to London because it
has been my dream since I was
in high school. I am happy that
my dream came true after
years of waiting for it. So, I
boarded a flight at KLIA Airport
to London. The ticket is not
too expensive and I like the
condition of the seat that I
took on the flight. My flight
took 12 hours and landed at
Heathrow International Airport
safely. Then, I check in to the
hotel and sleep.

For the first day, my
destination was to go to the
Tower bridge. This is one of the
must-see places when you set
foot in London. I took the
underground and got off near
London Bridge station. It is
considered one of the most
attractive and imposing sights
flocked by hundreds of
thousands of tourists each
passing day. It takes me back to
the floodgates of memories
from the past. Aesthetically,
the Tower Bridge is super
memorable and so iconic.

Next, I went to Hay’s Galleria.
Hay’s Galleria is a popular
picturesque landmark nearby
London Bridge. I enjoy taking
shelter in this old warehouse
wharf during the rainy time
and also marvel at the
architectural beauty that it is.
I can relish some light food,
coffee and buy other pieces of
stuff around this place from
the local shops. Several cafes
and restaurants nearby it
offers a variety of food
choices.

The next day, I decided to go
to the London eye. When I
arrived the lines were too
long and the ticket prices too
high. However, I was amazed
by the views, especially
Parliament and Buckingham
Palace. I really love the views
and surroundings. By the way,
I was too shocked because
this ride is not a fast one, with
the average rotation of the
wheel at least 30 minutes
long. I think it's really worth
trying this amazing
experience.

Suddenly, I felt very hungry
and decided to go to Borough
Market. Borough Market is one
of London’s best food markets
and a heaven for foodies as
one of the oldest food markets
is thought to be dating back to
at least the 12th century. I love
the eclectic architecture of the
present buildings that built-in
1851. Today, Borough Market is
packed with street food from
all around the world, cheese,
fresh fruit and veg, meat and
fish, artisan bread and some of
the yummiest pastries.

The last day in London, I
decided to just walk around
Bayswater while waiting to
check out from the hotel. We
stopped at Whiteley and a
nearby shop. In Whiteley, there
are some famous boutiques like
Zara and some others. I bought
a very beautiful and unique
handbag to give to my mother
and sister. I also bought my
family and friends souvenirs
such as keychains and fridge
magnets. Apparently, there are
many halal restaurants and
shops that sell halal meat
around Bayswater.

The taxi arrived at 2.30pm
and I went straight to
Terminal 4 of Heathrow
International Airport. The
journey to Heathrow Airport
takes 45 minutes. After
arriving at the airport, I
immediately claimed the
ticket so that my flight went
smoothly without any
problems. My flight leaves at
9pm. My flight took 12 hours
and landed at KLIA at 6pm.

So, my vacation to London
ended which left a lot of
sweet memories. It is not easy
to fill the free time with this
relatively long trip. I am really
happy and amazed with
myself because I can travel to
London alone and make my
dream come true. I hope I can
make this experience a
memory in the future.
