During summer vacation, Henry’s school organized a trip to the zoo. Henry and his friend were really excited and waited patiently for that day to come. Then, the day that they waited came, and on that day, they gathered at the school field at 8 a.m.

They travel to the zoo by school bus.The ride was filled with animated chatter and anticipation, as they discussed their favorite animals. They even sang together on the way to the zoo.

Halfway through their journey, they stopped at a restaurant to eat before visiting the zoo. After having a lovely meal, they continue their journey to the zoo.

Finally, after about an hour, they arrived at the zoo. They were so happy and excited to enter the zoo. The air was filled with the melodious chirping of birds and the distant roar of the lions.

At the entrance of the zoo, the students were greeted with a warm welcoming smile by a friendly zookeeper that will guide and lead them on an exciting and educational journey through the wonders of the animal kingdom.

The zookeeper tells them how the elephants sound and a lot of information about elephants that will give them new knowledge. Besides that, the zookeeper also tells them about his experience taking care of animals which makes Henry and his friend more excited. The first exhibit they encountered was the big elephants. They watched, mesmerized, as the elephant gracefully moved its trunks swaying in a rhythmic dance. They also feed the elephants with the food that the zookeeper gave them. Next, they move from the elephants and stop at the monkey cage to see the different species of monkeys that live there. They feel overwhelmed to see a monkey run while holding it’s baby.

Their next stop brought them to a fascinating snake cage, where a variety of serpents slithered and coiled in their enclosures. The students gathered around the exhibit, their curiosity piqued by the mesmerizing patterns and graceful movements of the snake

The zookeeper explains and lets Henry and his friend touch and hold an unpoisoned snake. Some of Henry’s friends were scared to hold the snake at first, but the zookeeper told them that the snake was not dangerous at all because the snake was already well-trained by a professional.

Only a few of Henry’s friends were brave enough to hold the snake and take some pictures with it.

The next stop is where the king of the zoo, a pair of big, stripy tigers lived. When the zookeeper threw meat at them, they let out a loud roar that made everyone stop and listen in amazement.

Henry and his friend also read informative panels that detail the history, behavior, and habitat of various extinct species. They also learn about the causes of the animal extinction.

After that, they visit the bird’s open area. They had already bought some seeds for the birds at the zoo entrance earlier to feed the birds. They had a lot of fun feeding the birds while taking a lot of pictures to make it a memory for them to remember later.

Finally, it's time to go back to school. They didn’t visit all the animals because it was getting late already. Before leaving, they gathered for a group photo with the zookeeper who guided them in the zoo earlier and thanked him.

They went back riding the same bus they had ridden earlier. They were tired but still happy because they could see a lot of animals and learn more about animals that they had never known or heard before.

After about an hour, they safely arrive at school and wait for their parents to pick them up.

Henry was very excited to share his new knowledge with his little brother and his parents. Henry also asks his parents to bring him and his little brother to the zoo again after this because he wants to visit all the animals that live there.
