SELECTING YOUR GREYHOUND’S NAME

Naming is an important undertaking, and care should be used in selecting a name that will reflect good taste.
No names are allowed that have a tendency to mislead the public as to the pup’s breeding or by a name sim-
ilar in sound to a name previously registered, unless the Greyhound has been deceased for at least 10 years and
was not used for breeding purposes. Designations of “The,” “Jr.,” “Sr.,” “I,” “II,” etc. are not permitted, nor names
that contain more than 16 letters, including spaces. All names must be approved by the Keeper of the Stud Book.
