WHAT IS Differentiated Instruction? Differentiated instruction is a strategy that use for teaching and learining to meet different learning needs from different studetns in a classrom. All student have the same learning goal. However, studetns are also have different ways to receive to information that delivery from teachers Therefore, instead of teaching the students in one way , teachers can use different types of methods to teach to meet each student’s individual interests, needs, and strengths.

WHAT IS Differentiated Instruction? For example, teachers can try to teach one-toone sessions or teaching by seperate the student into the small group. According to Tomlinson, there are FOUR ways where teachers can differentiate instruction based on studetns interest , readiness and their learning profile. Content Teachers need to varify what the students need to learn and by modify the teaching methods to meet different students’s needs. Process Teachers need to desgin some activities in order to help students master and more understand about the content .

Products Teachers could ask the students to show their understanding in distinct ways such as presentation or writting assignment. WHAT IS Differentiated Instruction? Learning Enviroment The way on the how the classroom environment that could change the classroom atmosphere to meet a student’s individual needs.

Content -Content means the knowledge, understanding, and skills (KUD) that students need to learn It‟s important to remember that these learning goals should nearly always remain the same for all students in the differentiated classroom. Match vocabulary words to definitions. -Read a passage of text and answer related questions. -Identify an author’s position and provide evidence to support this viewpoint. -Create a PowerPoint presentation summarising the lesson. Differentiated instruction involves modifying content, process, product, and affect/learning environment based on student needs such as readiness, interests, and learning profile. principles of differentiated Instruction Product -Products are ways for students to demonstrate what they have come to know, understand, and be able to do after an extended period of learning -Read and write learners write a book report. -Visual learners create a graphic organiser of the story. -Auditory learners give an oral report. -Kinesthetic learners build a diorama illustrating the story.

Process -Process is defined as how students understand and make sense of the content. By differentiating the process, they understand how to create sense-making activities that help students “ own ” the content—by allowing them to see how it makes sense and realize how it is helpful in the world outside the classroom. -Provide textbooks for visual and word learners. -Allow auditory learners to listen to audio books. -Give kinesthetic learners the opportunity to complete an interactive assignment online. Environment -considers how students ' emotions affect their learning. Our emotions and past experiences shape our selfconcept, motivation, and ability to collaborate, all of which play a crucial role in learning. -Break some students into reading groups to discuss the assignment. -Allow students to read individually if preferred. -Create quiet spaces where there are no distractions.

) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) allows every student to keep up with learning objectives 1 2 boosts motivation to learn material students may not find interesting 3 4 It helps educators connect with different learning styles. Not all students will respond to a class lecture; a game or a video may work better with other students. Some students may learn better by reading than they do using a computer. Giving students choices about how they learn enables them to meet learning objectives in the best way for them. THE BENEFITS OF DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTIONS it assists teachers in connecting with different learning styles

Teachers can flexibly group students according to their learning needs. Groupings can be done based on readiness, interests, or learning styles. This allows teachers to provide targeted guidance and support. So that students can learn better. Strategies for Differentiated Instruction Flexible grouping: A variety of learning materials are available, including textbooks, articles, videos and interactive online resources. Give students a variety of materials to choose from during the learning process. This accommodates different learning styles and preferences. Various learning resources: Formative Assessment and Feedback: Teachers need to continually assess and identify students’ areas of need and strengths so they can modify their teaching style and help students to move forward. Provide timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning Problem Solving: Rather than textbook. This motivates learners to explore big ideas and improve their knowledge of key concepts. By engaging in problemsolving activities, students are prompted to apply critical thinking skills, collaborate with peers, and explore the practical implications of the concepts they are learning.

1. Use Technology to Help Students Learn Technology has changed education forever. Teachers no longer have to rely solely on textbooks and lectures to teach students. Instead, technology allows teachers to deliver content in an engaging manner. 2. Create Lesson Plans That Work For Everyone It's common for teachers to prepare one set of lesson plans for each subject. Teacher can create lesson plans to individual student needs. Teacher can ask students questions about their interests and preferences. Then ,teachers can plan lessons accordingly. 3. Encourage Student Collaboration Collaboration learning is becoming increasingly popular among educators. Students working together to solve problems can improve their understanding of concepts. In addition, collaborative learning encourages students to share knowledge and resources. Tips create a Differentiated instruction in Classroom

More effort is necessary to implement differentiated instruction in the classroom since you must customize materials for each student. But the truth is, it requires teaching the same subject to all students using a range of instructional methodologies, or it can mean delivering lessons at varied degrees of difficulty dependent on each student's competence. Impossible to squeeze in differentiation without it feeling like one more add-on that teachers simply have no time for. As students struggle to receive what they need in the little amount of time they have, just as teachers fight to find enough time to educate. Utilizing time wisely is essential. Teachers believe that it can be difficult for inexperienced teachers to use since it’s studentcentered. Finding ways to manage a classroom when the instructor is not constantly in front of the class, manipulating strings like a skilled puppeteer, is one of the biggest challenges teachers face while learning to diversify teaching. In schools, frontal control is a familiar concept to us. But where all you need is to be creative to implement it by figuring out what best supports your students' learning on your own.

Research Focus: Investigating the effectiveness of differentiated instruction in mixed-ability classrooms. Examining differentiation in terms of content, process, and product. Theoretical Framework: Embracing constructivism, emphasizing the importance of the learning process over the final product. Incorporating Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) to tailor instruction to students' readiness to learn. Considering Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences to address diverse intellectual strengths. . CASE STUDY

Student Diversity and Engagement: Recognizing students' diverse cultural, social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. Highlighting academic engagement as crucial, defined as students' psychological and behavioral efforts in learning. Stressing the importance of meaningful learning experiences for all students. Challenges and Implementation: Acknowledging challenges faced by teachers in implementing differentiated instruction. Identifying both external challenges (institutional support) and internal challenges (teacher self-efficacy). Positioning the study as a practical model for implementing differentiated instruction in real classrooms. CASE STUDY

Study Objectives: Explore the application of differentiated instruction by teachers in mixed-ability classrooms. Assess the impact of differentiated instruction on diverse students' learning in terms of content, process, and product. Three Differentiated Domains: Content, process, and product identified as key domains for differentiated instruction. Differentiation within these domains seen as a solution for addressing mixed-ability levels in classrooms.

Student Diversity and Differentiation: Acknowledgment of increasing student diversity in terms of culture, socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, and gender. Differentiation in lesson planning suggested as a means to meet varied student needs. Guiding Characteristics: Readiness, interest, and learner profiles highlighted as guiding characteristics for teachers in differentiation. These characteristics aid teachers in planning differentiated content, process, and product.

In a non-differentiated classroom, teachers may use a single teaching style, pace, and set of materials for the entire class. This approach assumes that all students learn in the same way and at the same rate. Teachers may not adapt their instruction based on students' readiness, interests, or learning profiles. This lack of flexibility can lead to disengagement for some students and frustration for others. Students with varying learning styles and abilities may find it challenging to stay engaged in a lesson that does not cater to their individual needs. This could result in a lack of interest, motivation, or participation. A classroom without implementing differentiated instruction is one where the teaching and learning strategies are uniform for all students, regardless of their individual needs, learning styles, or abilities. IMPLICATIONS OF A CLASSROOM WITHOUT DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION

Without differentiated instruction, teachers may miss the chance to provide additional challenges for advanced learners or offer additional support to students who require more help. This can lead to gaps in learning and achievement disparities. Students have different ways of processing information, and a nondifferentiated classroom may not address these variations. Some students may be visual learners, while others may benefit more from auditory or kinesthetic approaches. it may be challenging for teachers to accurately assess individual student progress and tailor their instruction accordingly. This can result in a lack of personalized feedback and hinder students' ability to reach their full potential. IMPLICATIONS OF A CLASSROOM WITHOUT DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION

Teachers, this book, Differentiate Instruction by Group 5 teaches you that, "Students of the same age aren't alike when it comes to learning, any more than they are alike in terms of size, hobbies, personalities, or likes and dislikes. " While all students have many characteristics as children and as human beings, they also differ greatly from one another. What binds us together as human beings? Our differences define who we are as people. Only the similarities between students appear to be the main focus in a classroom with little or no differentiated instruction. While student differences become significant components of teaching and learning, commonalities are recognized and worked upon in a differentiated classroom. Conclusion:
