The Executive Vice President has the main responsibilities: hiring, in-
ternal record keeping, and internal management. The hiring of the CSS
team requires you to schedule and execute over 60 interviews through-
out the year. Working closely with the other executives you will support
them in the planning and hiring of their portfolios. Internal record keep-
ing extends to event debrief, director and executive feedback, and min-
ute taking. As the Executive Vice President you will also be asked to take
on HR roles and contribute to internal conflict resolution, G-suite man-
agement, event coordination, room bookings, long term planning, and
other strategic components of the CSS’s operations.
This year the Portfolio had two directors to assist in various administra-
tive and technical tasks. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible
for the maintenance of the internal calendar and minute taking during
meetings. The Director of Human Resources assists in the maintenance
of G-suite, internal record keeping, and long term planning.
