The executive of Marketing oversees the Marketing and Communica-
tions of the Commerce Students’ Society. Globally, the VP of Marketing
is responsible for ensuring the cohesiveness of the CSS brand across
all channels, determining the design and feel of the brand, coordinating
the apparel sales throughout the year, as well as supporting all other
event-driven portfolios (Events, Engagement, & Academics). In essence,
the VP Marketing and the Marketing portfolio in general act as a sup-
porting team to ensure that the CSS reaches the larger Business student
This role requires strong multitasking and communication skills, as this
portfolio is continuously helping all other portfolios achieve their en-
gagement objectives with the larger student body.
The structure of the portfolio is comprised of 5 year-long directors (Com-
munications, Design, Media & IT, Photography, and Apparel), plus two
seasonal (summer) directors for the design and production of the gradu-
ating class Yearbook.
