The sport of bodybuilding headed back
to the exclusive Lyric Theatre venue
at Gold Reef City for the final National

it was the WPF South Africa that welcomed athletes
from all over South Africa to the South African
Championships. With the local season about to
conclude eager athletes descended on Jozi to find
out who would take the top spots, and leave with
the title of National Champion in their respective
divisions to cap off a great year.
It was great to see some of SA’s most well respected
athletes back on stage, and it was also refreshing
to see a few new faces take to the stage to compete
against SA’s best - further proof that local bodybuilding
continued to grow in 2013.
Jade Essendrup cleaned up in the Junior under 23

What is there left to say that hasn’t

In the Ladies Toned Bikini division
it was newcomer Natascha Rossouw

that we’ve only seen the beginning of
this incredible athlete, and I’m really
looking forward to watching how
she transforms her physique over the

that she will become another top class
