Meet our Team

What you need to know:

• School starts at 8:45 and ends at 3:10.

• Drop off and pick up is in the playground.

• Children all have a named peg for coats, PE
bags, etc.

• All children are eligible for free lunch meals.
Menu details to follow.

The school day:

• Children will come into school by 8:45 to
register.

• All of our learning is topic-based. Learning
all stems from a book.

• Playtime is at 1:50. School provides healthy
snacks (or feel free to bring your own).

• Lunchtime is at 11:30.
• There will be an opportunity for a morning

break, too.
• Outdoor learning (in the Reception yard) is

available throughout the day.

What your child will need:

•A bookbag which can be purchased from The
Uniform Shop or Ziggy’s.

•School will provide a water bottle. We will
encourage drinking and refill these daily.

•A pair of wellies that can stay here for wet months.

•A sun hat can stay here for hotter months.

•You may wish to bring some spare clothes
(underwear, socks, tights, etc.).

•PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE label everything clearly.

Transition to ‘big school’

•During the first two weeks of
school, your child will come for a
morning session (9:00 – 12:00) and
an afternoon session (1:00 – 3:10).
More information to follow.

•Lunch will be provided at the
morning sessions.
