Ramses II or Ramesses
the Great is the most

powerful pharaoh of the
Egyptian Empire.



He ruled Egypt for 66
years and make it rich
from all the supplies
and riches he had
collected from other
empires.

Ramesses lived for about
90 years then died of
serious dental problems
and artery illness, leaving
great memorials all over
Egypt.

Nine more pharaohs took
the name Ramesses in
his honour.
