WELCOME To encourage the incorporation of augmented reality (AR) into science education. To improve the atmosphere in which elementary school pupils learn science. To introduce primary pupils to cutting-edge educational technology. OBJECTIVES SOL_AR Module is derived from a Solar Augmented Reality(AR) Module. Solar system is one of the syllabus in science primary school. Solar system teaches kids about the collection of eight planets and their moons in orbit around the sun, together with smaller bodies in the form of asteroids, meteoroids, and comets. The AR creation in this module is created by using a browser called Blippar. This module consists of Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 syllabus in which some of the topics will be presented in the form of AR. There are requirements and procedures that need to be followed to use this module. The present of this modern technology allows us to deliver this knowledge in extraordinary and advanced ways to our students. This opportunity should be taken as world education is getting challenging. By using this module, our learning process and experience become more effective and enhanced. This module needs a device that can scan QR codes and the Blippar app downloaded from the App store or Playstore. Quick response codes (QR codes) are a type of two-dimensional (2D) barcode that are used to make it simple for users of smartphones and tablets to access online content. The Blippar app is an augmented reality browser. It overlays digital content directly on top of real-world objects and images using the camera on your tablet or smartphone. We employ artificial intelligence to locate pertinent content when you scan something. The app then tracks the image or object in 3D space and overlays the content using augmented reality. An augmented reality experience created by us or by others using our AR creation tools is unlocked by the displayed content. INTRODUCTION MODULE REQUIREMENT 1
The radius of the Earth is 6370 kilometres (about 3980 miles). The radius of the sun is around 100 times larger. Every year, the earth completes one orbit around the sun. The sun is located at one of the foci of the orbit's small elliptical shape. The orbit outlines the plane where the sun is located. Earth and the sun are separated by the average distance of 149 million kilometres (about 93 million miles). FACTS ABOUT EARTH AND SUN The earth rotates on its axis. Earth rotates from west to east in an anticlockwise direction. The duration taken for each complete rotation is 24 hours. The duration taken for each revolution is 365 1/4 days. ROTATION OF THE EARTH Scan this Qr Code to watch the video. 2
The distance from Earth to the sun varies from about 147 million km to about 152 million km (that is, from about 92 million to 95 million miles, or about +/- 1.4% from the mean distance). The earth is closest to the sun (perihelion) during January and farthest (aphelion) during July. FACTS ABOUT EARTH AND SUN ROTATION OF THE EARTH Each day, the earth revolves once (24 hours). The North Pole, South Pole, and Equator are all defined by the rotation as well as its axis of rotation. Since the earth travels a little amount in its orbit around the sun every day, the earth really spins a little bit more than once every solar day. The earth must thus spin slightly beyond 360 degrees for any single location to once again face the sun directly.] 3

ROTATION OF THE MOON “Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.” ― Mark Twain Previously, we all learnt about Earth and Sun. It is mesmerizing, right? Earth and Sun has another friend called Moon. Do you want to know more about Moon? Let's explore more on this part! This is our Earth's natural satellite, the Moon 7
Similar to the Earth, the Moon also rotates on its axis from West to East It also rotates around the Earth. Surprisingly, the duration of Moon rotating on its axis is the same with the duration of Moon rotating on the Earth which is 27⅓ days. Constellations A constellation os a group of stars that appears to form a certain pattern in the sky at night. There are many constellation in the sky but the International Astronomical Union (IAU) has officially identified 88 constellation in the sky at night. Orion Big Dipper Scorpion Crux 2 2
Constellations ORION Orion is located on the celestial equator. From November through February, Orion is vividly visible in the night sky The quickest approach to find the Orion Constellation is to locate Orion's Belt. Alnilam, Mintaka, and Alnitak are the three brilliant stars that make up Orion's Belt. SCORPION Form shape of scorpion. The scorpion constellation appears in the sky at night in the southern hemisphere. Scan this to experience AR notes 2 3
Constellations CRUX BIG DIPPER This constellation forms the shape of a water dipper or ladle with a handle. The Big Dipper appears at night in the northern hemisphere. The smallest of the 88 contemporary constellations, Crux, is the location of the Southern Cross asterism. Crux occupies an area of the sky of around 68 square degrees. Easily recognised at night in the southern hemisphere. It consists of a group of four stars arranged in the shape of a kite. Scan this to experience AR notes Scan this to experience AR notes 2 4
