Upward Bound with Pride!
UPWARD BOUND at the University of South Florida is a federal TRIO college access program sponsored by the United
States Department of Education. The goal of the program is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary
education and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. Upward Bound serves high school students from first
‐generation and low‐income families. The program provides intensive preparation for college including academic year
