Wedgewood to create a unique tea cosy for (what
else?) a Wedgewood teapot.

The initiative named Project Tea Cosy is a creative
collaboration between the heritage ceramics brand
and British Fashion Council’s millinery programme
BFC Headonism which includes new talent Awon
Golding ( whose hat is pictured) and Lizzie McQuade
alongside Emma Yeo and Keely Hunter.

Designers visited the Wedgwood factory in
Barlaston, Stoke on Trent, and were given privileged
access to the Wedgwood pattern and china archives.
Drawing inspiration from over 250 years’ heritage of
craftsmanship and design, they have been asked to
apply their own personal aesthetic and manufacturing
approach to create a one-off tea cosy masterpiece.

What a fabulous summer
we have been having;
which I guess makes
up for the fact I have
remained in the UK for
the duration of it. I’m presently writing
this in my garden, waiting for the BBQ to

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the
studio the past month, which has led to me
