Meaning of Rules and Regulations
Definition of Rules
The rules are the standard set of instruction made for people, which explains
how things are to be done
The rule should be followed be the public as they are made for the welfare of
them.
Rules tell us what to do and what not to do. It can be set up for home,
hospital, institution, college, office, school, etc
Definition of regulations
Regulation can be defined as the rules which are authorised by the
government and approved by the public.
For examples, rules and regulation of a school may include rules against
noise making, speaking vernacular, fighting in and outside school compound,
late coming, use of bad language etc

Schools rules are important to make because they enables the class to
run smoothly so that everyone can learn and benefit from what the
teachers has to offer
School Regulations have to do with discipline and punishment.
Regulations in the school helps to maintain peace and order in the
school environment.
An obedient student is in agreement with the school rules and codes of
conduct.

people behave.

TOPIC: Result of not obeying government rules and regulations.

At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to know the result of not
obeying rules and regulations.
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Although not a requirement for understanding the
lesson, (based on the curriculum).
CONTENT OF THE LESSON
Result of disobeying rules and regulations
1. People lose their freedom. For example, those who steal would
be taken to prison. Also, those who commit other crimes may be taken to
prison too.
2. Disobedient people get arrested by the police. People who disturb the
peace of the community may also get arrested.
3. Disobedient children get punished at home by their parents.
They also get punished at school by their teachers.
4. Disobedient people do not have friends because they are rejected by
society.
5. Sometimes, when people break the law of the country, the high court
judge would make them pay a fine.
